...The Xbox 360 users in the UK's top three games were an FPS, a Racing Sim and an Adventure Game.
Slightly more varied than the stuff you're trying to spout =/
Lulz, Sony fans pouring in as per usual.
- That $3 billion? That's a buffer incase every Xbox 360 they plan to sell this generation needs to come back for repairs. Considering now that the Xbox 360's failure rate is BELOW 4%, you would have a job spending all that.
- The 9.3 attach rate on the Xbox 360 is spread over 35 million consoles. That's an average of 3.5 billion games sold at retail. Even if they're not exclusive, Microsoft gets a share of those sold and ergo...
Bu...bu....but the Xbox 360 gimped FFXIII!!!
Considering Mass Effect looks better, let alone Mass Effect 2.
Funny stuff.
Nice array of achievements, much like the first one.
Shame they added the multiplayer, both achievement and gameplay wise. I'd prefer a continuation of the story. I don't want work dedicated outside of that.
Agreed.
I hope to hell Mass Effect 3 uses the facial and voice recognition aspects of Natal. BioWare are awesome for NPC interaction and I would bet a lot that they could do some amazing things with Natal.
The Xbox 360 almost has 40% of the market share.
Shame the PC wasn't added but with direct download I guess it is a little unfair. Mind you, the Xbox 360's may be higher with the XBL library.
...Thanks to the UK, the second largest games market in the world, the Xbox 360 has Europe by the horns.
We all know the story in America.
The PS3's only saving grace is its homeland.
You're comparing a single year in which all you guys tout the 360 had no games. Is that REALLY a victory?
Man, you're going to be gutted when Conviction, Mass Effect 2, Halo: Reach, Crackdown 2, PGR5, etc + NATAL roll out.
N4g messed up.
Who was moaning?
I was simply pointing out that with every piece of Reach news, there are dozens and dozens of PS3 fanboys "ooohing" and "aaahing" at how amazing Reach looks. It's easy to see from the large amount of them pouring in here they really want the game.
It's about time they witnessed Gravemind's narrative, the relation to 7, the SPARTAN tiers, Chief's story, Covenant hierarchy, the amazing gameplay, the deep religious meanings and refle...
Last time I checked the PS3 is still in 3rd place and still being outsold.
...So if the Xbox 360 has had no games this year but can still manage that... just how bad is the PS3?
Man, sony fanboys sure love Halo.
They can truly see how much of a killer game this is going to be. From industry leading graphics to 3 million copies sold in an opening weekend. Bungie are truly incredible developers.
I'll be practicing my shots in ODST, while suppling Forza III, Conviction, Crackdown 2, Alan Wake, etc in the prior to the time.
Fun? That's all I need to know.
And the reviews are probably bull anyway. Lost Odyssey only got 8/10 and it is easily one of the best RPGs in the last decade.
I'm not going to lie...
I'll probably by this :P
Agreed.
Seriously loved the first one. I'm currently using the last achievements as an excuse to play through it once more.
I have no idea how I'm going to last next year between this, Reach, Conviction and Crackdown 2.
FLOY went to Uncharted 2.
At least Forza 3 sold a million in a month and actually managed to be in the NPD sales list.
And if I didn't, there would of been no chance of getting this approved. We all know how this site is dictated.
On Topic: An amazing collection for the Xbox 360. Really deserved more awards in my eyes.
...Sony fans complaining yet there was a carbon copy of this celebrating the PS3's successes.
Loving the crazy amounts of reports from the SDF.
Anyone would think the news here was run by the-... oh wait.
Microsoft made an early push in advertising over here and France around the PS3 launch and it really worked for them getting a large install base (ala the boat running through Paris on the PS3 launch day). Then it must have been a word-of-mouth effect as there was more of a buzz concerning the Xbox 360.
The key thing is that the UK is the second largest market in the world. It dwarfs many combined countries in the EU alone, which is surprising considering it is just a tiny island...
