What I don't understand is the articles 'Console Selling' rating. All 360 games, bar one didn't get more than a 2, yet God of War got a 3...
God of War I, II and Collections have only just managed above 3 million copies sold to over 170 million users. It is not a system seller. The only two I would consider System Sellers are GT5 and Halo: Reach; both always leave behind a massive boost in sales.
Even then it is questionable whether the likes of FFXIV, Agent and mayb...
To be fair, these are old screenshots :/
Halo 3: Sold 12 million to 26 million users.
Halo 3: ODST: An 'add-on' sold around 8 million to 30 million users.
GT4: Sold around 9 million to 140 million users.
Bonus round -
God of War, God of War II and God of War: Collections has sold 4 million to 165 million users.
The Xbox 360 has a ton of epic looking exclusives coming. Reach is just a cherry on the bun.
Splinter Cell: Conviction
Project Gotham Racer 5
Fable III
Halo: Reach
Alan Wake
Crackdown 2
Mass Effect 2
Ninety Nine Nights 2
Bayonetta (may as well be 360 exclusive)
Sixteen exclusives from BIG developers and growing, already announced.
There's 25 BIG exculsives right there and we're not even in 2010 yet.
@ above. Microsoft themselves have stated they're treating both this year and Natal as a relaunch. They've...
Well,
- They have the biggest lineup
- They have the 360 relaunch
- The actual arrival of Natal
- They'll continue to innovate the online area
- They keep all their cards close to their chest unlike Sony and Nintendo, so with the biggest and best look for 2010 already, we can only expect more
- They kept up and even overtook their competitors at times in sales, considering they both had big years while the 360's was lackluster
- Etc
Got mine :D
Also: anything Chocobo > Japanese exclusive pixel box
Anyone can write sh!t about gaming nowadays and have it published. Bedroom journos ftl.
Meh, looks pretty rubbish still.
I mush preferred Ubisoft's Xbox 360 Narutos.
If you have yet to played Lost Odyssey, you are missing out on one of the best RPGs of this decade.
It isn't really comparable to other game, especially with the collectibles as such as the '1000 Years of Dreams'.
Anyway, I'm hoping for another Xbox 360 RPG. Blue Dragon is underrated but the scores Lost Odyssey got were atrocious for how good a game it was.
Sikbeta. Get off social networking spaces. Learn something... like spelling.
What the hell are you on about?
Natal uses: Bourne conspiracy like menus, akin to how the Xbox 360 dashboard will eventually be like. Optic fibre gameplay; place the controller in your lap and then feed the wire yourself, which can be optional. Etc.
Natal is highly usable and adds creative gameplay thanks to 3D space orientation. The only other system that comes close is potent...
Sikbeta. Just leave N4g. kthxbai.
Anyone with a little imagination can see how Natal can be implemented into games like these. As I said before, there's a lot of different ways Natal can be incorporated without making the gamepad redundant.
Natal has more to it than just waving your body parts.
You can combine the controller with functions of the camera to create a more immersive environment without moving too far from traditional gameplay.
Even the Wii can do it with its Wiimote. Resi 4 being a great, great example.
I love ignorant Natal doomsayers.
It's funny how they're only reliable when it suits the PS3 fanboys.
Didn't they also predict that the PS3 outsold the 360 in Novembers NPD and it turned out it was actually the reverse?
I'll take this with a grain of salt.
Well while it is now unlikely due to the newer revisions, at least you can guarantee the new one wouldn't go.
They just linked the UK site. There's a US and AU version too.
You've got till the 17th.
Before jumping on the report bandwagon, at least read the article. There are some good points made.
Shame this will be flagged as flamebait though.
They got better.
Viva Pinata is easily one of my favourite games of all time. Anyone that actually put a little time into it highly rated it.
Kameo is again one of my favourite games this decade. There was so much comedy and charm and it pushed a lot of power with 10,000 largely detailed enemies on the screen at once.
N&B's was really underrated.
Honestly, agreed.
Looking at the 360's 2010 lineup, including the 16 games coming to NATAL from the largest games developers out there, it has some stellar games.
With Live constantly pushing the online environment with free social games like 1 vs. 100 (which is f'ing amazing) and the Avatar Racing due shortly, integrated services like Netflix, Facebook (AMAZING for album viewing, Twitter, Last.FM, etc. The free Xboxinsider service, major gaming conventions and event...
It'll be more free games, cloaked in devices to usurp HOME, all for bragging rights.
It's not a bad thing, free games like 1 vs. 100 are HIGHLY welcome; it's amazingly fun.
Great news.
EDIT:
He brings up that 2010 looks amazing for the Xbox 360 already and that we should wait for even more greater things. HOLY SHIII-
