Yet from what I've played and judging from the heaps of 9+ reviews it is amazing and has flat out sold nearly every other game on all the other consoles in two weeks?

With the PS3's 'WiiMote' it'll mostly get the same games that will be releasing on the Wii. It's just too much of an easy opportunity.
With the Xbox 360's NATAL, there's nothing out there like it. The closest thing is the PSEye, but that doesn't have the technology to keep up with what NATAL can create.

Can't wait to see what Ubi brings, but looking at what they've brought to the Wii I'm not expecting much. Then again, MS and Sony will probably have higher standards for this because they will both be pushing this front, unlike Nintendo.

Hold any item you want and scan it in? Natal has been said it can use the size of the item scanned and make the in-game product match its scale.
With that, just pull an imaginary trigger? Natal follows your movements down to the very end of each digit.
Simulate actual movement? They did it with burnout and it was reported to work amazingly. Just tilt your head forward a little bit and stop to make it know you want to run.

I fully expect Bioware and Lionhead to be adding this to their amazing RPGs. Just think how much it would add to the gameplay? Milo-esque responses all throughout the game thanks to voice recognition and with the facial awareness it has thanks to its built in processor they could even know who you were.

The difference is nobody cared for the WiiMote. EVERY studio that has touched Natal have pretty much said it's gamings second coming. No other console has anything that comes close.
I'll be happily waiting it out. It's only £30 anyway, cheaper than a new game and will definitely last longer and bring as much fun.

My main point involves the length of this generation. It has been said it will last longer than all others and with Natal being Microsofts 'new launch' for the Xbox 360, it seems to span all companies. Bioware are a competent team. Yet, to create an idea, spend years crafting it and THEN start developing it might make their first full title for Sony on the PS4.

Between the XNA Arcade!, the XBLA!, Primetime, tight multiplayer, Twitter/Last.fm/Facebook integration, etc, etc, you're a fool to believe that it is not worth the £2.96 a MONTH comapred to the lesser services.
If you don't like it, 70% of the services are available free to Silver members, which still gain more than they would on other services, say PSN, bar multiplayer.
Looking pretty damn good, especially considering the size of Ruffian Games.
