Herd mentality's a helluva drug.
So, they rely on instigating gamers to come rushing to defend a game against a ridiculously seemingly low score, that they didn't actually score low?
Trolls are even allowed in the ranks of 'professional' reviewers. Lame.
Could surprise us just like Guerilla did with that little new IP it released last year.
Fifty bucks for a six year old game that sold gangbusters? No, no, no, hell no, no, no, no, suck it, no, no, never, never, no, not, never, no, no, NO.
Take a note from Naughty Dog, Todd Howard..
Bethesda's reply when asked to comment: 🤑
Not sure why but I want this thing to succeed.
EA sucks. Glad it's not selling fast enough.
Actually looking forward to getting my old-gen SEGA Gen game on. Still amazes me how, looking back, the graphics on the Genesis were so much better than the Nintendo Entertainment System. Yet, I was still drawn to the NES more.
Hard to fight the appeal of Sonic & Knuckles, Streets of Rage, Syndicate, Ranger X, Vector-Man, Comic Zone and Shinobi. Seems like such a huge reserve of games pining for a reboot.
My first impressions after two-hours with Sea of Thieves is: This is what Microsoft has been taughting for three years as THE reason to game on an XBOX One, AND there's nothing else better to look forward to?
😫😭🤬
I'm a Nintendo fan. I don't dismiss God of War as just a mindless, violent game.
It's difficult to argue with a mythos so old, fluid-yet-rigid, and timeless—such as Greek and Roman—is just a violent fascination. Considering God of War pulls from that pool, it's certainly worth a subjective eye.
God of War? More like God of Damn That Looks Phenomenal!
Exactly the game and play time that came to my mind.
Fifty hours before even any expansions or download content? Amazing.
At this point, even if it was started recently—though has possibly been in development for awhile, we have to suspect that a new Elder Scrolls is being worked on.
God of War might pull off being even better—as difficult as that would be—than the original.
That would be a great way to have the gamer invest emotion in Atreus.
Uh-oh—too much emotion. IGN is going to deduct a full point from the review score.
Too much of not having enough.
IGN and GameSpot sure are being stingey with the '9' scores. Practically all other reviewers are giving this thing either a perfect score or just under.
You're contradicting yourself, MichelleLynn0976. I can't be the source of an [alleged—even though it's only two to one disagreements] unpopular opinion as-well-as "going along with others."
But, for the sake of me liking to be thorough and analytical: The Switch version I would make an exception for—regarding being worth the fifty bucks—because it's portable.
Now, stop picking on me.
