I've owned 5.
As the article says it's included on one of the bonus disc's from the SE Halo 3 GAME, not the console, as it comes with no discs of any sort.
When your all not playing the fanboy role, your some pretty hilarious guys.
I downloaded the update yesterday. This morning I saw the headline for this article n' thought nothing of it 'til I jumped on the game and noticed instantly there was a horrendous difference, terrible lag issues. Hell, a Spider Splicer almost did me in it was so bad. But I remembered this n' came back, read about the clear cache as drunk pandas advised n' all is well. I'm not sure what that update is for (specially with the game being off-line) me n' Bioshock will be just fine without it....
I'm pretty excited about this game even tho I only own a 360. Hopefully (somehow), I'll get to play it.
Hell it started 6 years ago on November 15, 2001.
Amazing collection of videos, great post.
I never imagined paying as much as we are today for controllers. And these McFarlane Halo themed controllers are as much as a new game, but I think I'm gonna jump on one of 'em. The artwork is just that darn good.
Btw, thnx for all the approvals of my meager 3 news submissions, finally a contributor.
A big mistake? No, but an unexperienced leap into gaming..it was. You gotta start somewhere. I believe M$ always took on the original Xbox as learning process, gettin' their feet wet. They abandoned the original early to get the jump on Sony n' because, quite frankly, I think they realized they'd sold just about as many as they were going to. It's like your first time drawing and you mess you; you'll quickly ball up your first try but take a little more time on the second, n' with pocket...
Just picked up my HDMI Premium from Best Buy today. So far there hasn't been any problems (from what I've heard) wit' 'em. I grabbed the 60 dollar 2 year protection from 'em as well, who wouldn't? With the recent price drop, it makes sense. Something happens you go in, drop the shyt on their counter, pick up another n' bounce...swap out the hard drives as well. It's just the safest bet. Great gaming experience and a piece of mind as well. I didn't have any problems with my previous 360...
I liked beat 'em ups back in the day. Playin' through the whole game 'til you've conquered it. I had some fun times with the Streets of Rage series n' it's co-op mode on the Genesis back then. The same goes for Double Dragon.
I'd say one of the worst recent (but most anticipated) co-op games was Brute Force. The best nowadays? The Halo series, easily. COD2 is great in it's own as well.
I'm getting my HDMI Premium today n' I've had the Legendary Halo 3 on pre-order since day 1 n' have to pay that off. I think Imma get one of the Halo controllers as well, only 2 designs but they're both awesome. Then I've gotta get LIVE again... I'll have dropped a good 6 dollar's when it's all said n' done.
Well worth it.
This cat is sick. N' the above quote I found to be quite ironic to say the least.
Somebody needs to jack his ride n' beat the shyt outta 'em wit' a bat in the process, then he'll have something to complain about.
This life's over for 'em, time to move onto the next.
Why's everyone having a problem with the faceplate? You get a new unit, you've kept an old valued faceplate, you swap the original white one out with the valued one ('though I'd sell it as opposed to actually using it).
Anyway, you said it all. This article's locked n' loaded full of b.s. 20 fk'n minutes after being removed from the bubble wrap n' it RROD's? Seriously...there are so many holes in this claim that I can JUMP IN.
Great read.
on the well said. Very good article n' read also. I think the one of the most intense wars was waged between the Genesis and SNES, that one was hella crazy, I remember it well. Things nowadays have just exploded far out of context with these new consoles n' their respective fanboys. Though last gen I had the luxury of owning both Xbox and PS2, there was no way I was dropping an excess of $1,000 on hardware alone this gen. I'm a fan of the 360, but I'll tell you quick I can remember very ...
After the first two mishaps the driver makes it's quite clear that he/she simply sucks. NFS' controls have always been on point anyway. This games looking good, 'tho I wish they hadn't taken out the police presence.
EDIT: zomg! Not deaf, simply didn't have the vol. tuned on at the time of viewing. Watching again, you can clearly hear the demonstrator speak of displaying the games damage modeling, which IMO are a bit underwhelming.
Large enough difference, but nothing spectacular.
Speaking of Mafia, I'd like to know what's going on with the new Getaway. Though I don't own a PS3 this was one of my favorite series on the PS2. Some of the best shootouts I can remember of my gaming past.
I've wondered recently what do many (gamers and game industry folk alike) consider to be "over hyped". Is it when a game is so ridiculously hyped up but doesn't deliver? Or is it that one get's sick of hearing about the game everywhere they turn, regardless of how well it does?
Personally I consider it to be the former, and with that being said there's no way MGS2 nor Halo 2 should be anywhere near this list. Where's Brute Force, Killzone, Advent Rising, etc.? N...
