This really takes the cake imo. I have loads of Halo swag n' collectibles. The only thing I've ever displayed in public was the Legendary pin, I've worn it once, like 2 days after the launch of Halo 3.
I think it's a bit....ridiculous...ludicrous. ..extreme when you have a large fan even shaking his/her head in disbelief.
I'm sorry, Atari founder...father of games or not, I cannot listen to any person who calls the wonderful (those that are) games of today n' recent "trash". All credibility is immediately out the window. And from the quotes of the article it seems like he needs to direct his efforts towards some new family board game such as Monopoly n' leave gaming alone altogether...but then again I guess he already has - the company was broken down to billions of bits years ago.
I think you're right about the limited edition thing. That's just starting to get really hot n' I don't think it would have taken off like this at all if it weren't due to gamers widely embracing LE games last gen. Had it not taken off the way it has, we may still be paying 50 for our new 360 n' PS3 games. As was stated, they know if they're pushing a AAA or garbage title out the door n' should price it as such. Hell I wanna take a spin with the new Hot Wheels title, but do you really thi...
The only weapons they have right is the BFG9000, Rail Gun from Red Faction and energy sword.
Number 1 on the list should have been Mario's fireball.
Mainstream by 2015, yet Toshiba initially had plans to release it's FIRST OLED TV that same year? This technology hasn't even been given a chance to prove itself (or not) and I don't think it will 'til around that same time frame. I think LCD n' Plasma will be on top 'til at least 2020.
Guess we’ll have to settle for the PC version or pick up a 360.
Is anyone else disheartened about this practice? I plan on getting a 360 and all, but the fact that Microsoft is literally just shelling out money to keep exclusive rights on just about everything seems to be a little crappy to the gaming scene as a whole. I understand developers keeping software off of the PS3 due to the lower sales rates (compared to other current-gen consoles), but when a company with a hell of ...
that regardless of what systems or games you prefer, as "contributors" and "gamers", you owe it to yourself and the community to keep the bullshyt to a minimum and gaming INFO and NEWS at it's best.
I think we can fkn' grow up n' do much better. This is the best gaming site I frequent, but it could be so much better.
Just when I thought this site n' it's contributors couldn't reach another low, they do just that.
They're building him up as a...war hero. I think that's the appropriate title one should receive for fictionally being mankind's last n' only hope, don't you?
But I think these controllers look wonderful and were skillfully crafted. I seriously doubt it has anything to do with my being such a large fan of the Halo series, because that Halo 3 360 looks (n' probably smells) like shyt.
I've never been a real fan of game related controllers but these are awesome. I hate to spend anymore money on anything to do with Halo but I can justify this purchase. No matter what game you play, you'll only have one stick in your hand, may as wel...
I always wondered why they packaged it that way as well as I purchased the LE edition of Halo 2 also. Though my discs were never damaged n' I never had any problems with them popping out, I don't know why they didn't just make the case so that it holds each CD's on separate panels as most media containing more than one disc is done. I mean it's not as though there was a lack of funding or anything.
If that's the case with the LE edition of Halo 3 as well (and it appears that ...
I see they're teaching you fanboys some new tactics in those weekly meetings - jingles.
Keep up the good work recruit.

NPD, VGC, goes without saying will never be 100% accurate. But they're the resources we have to follow these things. That goes with everything, hell the current census says there's close to 7 billion people in the world. They off by a couple million? I'm sure they are, but it's 'bout as close as it gets.
However, this was not foreseen, at least not by myself. In my experience (n' I've been with it (Halo) since day 1), I've known the series to generate tons of revenue, no...
I think it'd be a good idea for the original Halo: CE, as many 360 owners haven't had the delight of the playing through the classic, while most have had the chance to run through the sequel on either console (besides, it's graphics aren't nearly as outdated as the original - I've already played through it twice on my 360, it's still pretty).
What fan and newcomer to the series wouldn't enjoy going back to the games roots in full HD on the 360?
I'm 'bout my money, but at least I go about it in an intelligent way. Honestly if I had a copy of Halo 3 in hand right now I'd throw it up on ebay in a 1 day auction n' get what I could for it. This cat deserved to make NOTHING, because obviously he thought there was at least one person out there as dumb as he was/is.
Maybe I've overlooked something but I don't remember any game that was actually influenced by Atari's Pong. The game was great, n' I still play it in different forms to this day. But what other game has implemented those simple gameplay mechanics? Which gaming genre was influenced by Pong?
I must say they nailed this list nearly dead on the head. Some I'm sure will disagree. But we're not talking about great games or even legendary games. There's a big difference between a good game that sells well n' even helps moves systems than games that actually influenced the industry at large.
The graphics are very underwhelming. But I'd have to disagree with what you said of the gameplay, if anything it reminds me of The Getaway (looks 'bout as "good" as it too). But I loved that series on the PS2, lots of fun shootouts so it's good that this game reminds me of that. N' I can't help but remember Heat whenever I watch a trailer for this game. I just wish they'd do something with those graphics, right now it's a rental for me.
Bear in mind this is coming from a fan of the NFS franchise. They've done a few new (subtle) things that I like with their flagship racer. I like the announcer a lot, he seems very lively n' has something new to say at the start and course of every race. Secondly the damage modeling is pretty well done, it's no Burnout or Flatout, but it's done a lot better than I had previously thought n' seen from the video's. The handling is on point as usual and the sense of speed is great as well. ...
