Halo has always absolutely awed me with it's graphics. It set the bar for every other game released on Xbox, even when the game became somewhat outdated. HALO 2...I remember playing on my 360 (so obviously I'd played a few next gen games already) and STILL being taken back by it's brilliant lighting and colors. The massive scope of everything. I haven't really thought yet about how I feel about this game. 4 was the first I'd ever played n' is one of my favorite games on the PS2. RE5, I'm sure, will be nothing short of spectacular.

We'll see what they come up with, hopefully multiplatform. The first game was awesome IMO, the amount of destruction was crazy. You could shoot through walls for literally hours. I have some very fond memories of it's multiplayer as well, simply because the bots were so intelligent n' gave me a real run for my money. However, the sequel didn't do much for me.
But this is a new era of gaming and (as you said) if it's anything like the first Red Faction, should blow us away...
The only reason I'm holding onto my PS2 is because I have hope that Manhunt 2 will, someday, actually be released.
Scary it's not, so long as you realize the world in which we each, separately, live. Once you've got that down, nothing really scares or takes you by surprise.

The Elites do look a lot cooler to play this time 'round, though I'm still partial to Spartans (who isn't?). If I wasn't droppin' a stack for a new motor for my SS I'd already have a 360, patiently waiting for Halo 3. I'll def. have another before Sept. 25th tho, no choice.
The one's sent for repairs were the first to get the added heatsink. It was only a matter of time before all new units received them. The process will be complete when all new units (Elite to Core, I find it hard to believe that only the new Elites have the added heatsinks) have the added heatsinks as well as the 65nm chips.
that truly FK'S things up for me. Halo 3 n' GTA4 were the only games I was planning on purchasing (while renting all the others) this fall. GTA4 would have mixed up the action tremendously (for me at least) in between the FPS' Halo 3 n' Bioshock. It's hard to say, but I think (in lue of the delay) I was anticipating this game the most of the fall lineup 360 has to offer. Imma have to fall back to NFS this holiday to keep things mixed up.
