but I wouldn't go as far as saying it is a beacon of hope, that sounds silly. there are plenty of good games still coming out. it was amazingly polished though.
I thought it was pretty fair.
That is a pretty good point, they kind of had to.
Just get an in-store warranty. It kind of sucks, but at the same time 1 year is the standard. They seem to be confident in their hardware, but personally I don't think I'll trust them again this generation. I'm going to get one, but will probably pick up an additional warranty.
You will notice that a laptop can get much warmer, even when just using something like flash. These are great operating temperatures for a performance-based machine.
I can't believe people like it. It's the buggiest piece ever, even too buggy for a beta. Call of Duty will win again, I'm afraid, and it's too bad.
The problem with MoH is that it is boring crap. They did NOTHING to improve the experience, and were comfortable just knocking off MW2. It is somehow even worse than MW2, which is a huge disappointment compared to the original. I was really hoping it would be good, but it is actually abysmal in its current form. <...
Everything is penetrable, and the PS3's OS isn't secure in the slightest. The guys who do the PS3 software are really weak.
Which there are PLENTY of in the beta, the game is just the most boring, ugly ripoff I've seen. It's third rate trash in my opinion. They didn't try to do anything new. By the way, it being in BETA isn't a real excuse. The Halo: Reach and Call of Duty betas are extremely polished by the time they are out into the wild, and are true BETAS. The MoH beta feels more like pre-alpha. I mean, look at the KZ3 pre-alpha. It's practically finished-looking. That's what MoH should...
and that is a fairly nice boot screen, i think.
They fell flat for the rest of us, though.
^obvious trolls are obvious
the guy demoing it at E3 was black! and what does colour have to do with anything?
"skeletal anatomy" is different than height. short people tend to have different ratios of leg length to body, etc. If it works as said, it shouldn't confuse a child with a short person.
as long as the unit remains cool, the x-clamp is fine. it's not like x-clamp equals fail, heat equals fail.
the article is complete flame bait, with few facts to back up its claim. move along everybody, troll central!
Obvious trolls are obvious. Move has great potential because of its precision for hardcore games, and Kinect works great for the casual gamer (where 1:1 is NOT an issue). If the price point is right, it could be a real hit with the audience they have targeted (or fail miserably if it's too expensive). Harmonix's Dance Central actually looks incredibly fun, and more importantly works as advertised. People are failing to realize that Move does NOT equal Kinect in terms of games. They ar...
It was only an issue because it was coupled with rampant overheating. If they solved the overheating issue, the X-Clamp design should be fine because the "warping" would be nonexistent. Only time will tell.
but I kind of agree with them on 3D. It's sweet, but the glasses implementation is going to be replaced by something far better in a couple short years. the technology exists, there is just an issue with viewing angle currently. If I were them, I wouldn't rule out 3D (as they said, just not for now). I suspect they will do an implementation, but not with the current tech. Even if it goes against them again, it's not a bad move for them to play "wait and see" in this cate...
Massive flame bait to anyone who doesn't read the entire article.
I would also like to elaborate and share my point of view. These are a collection of my observations. I know I'm going to wrongfully get a million disagrees, but if you don't think what I say is at LEAST reasonable and makes sense, then I can't help you.
The 360 is the "best" console to play with friends for the majority, as a vast number of people buy it solely for that purpose (note I said with friends, not in general). That doesn't mean someone co...
