Calm down dude. Geez...
In the past, when an game appeared on just one of the 3 consoles manufactured by Nintendo, Sony or Microsoft it was rightfully branded as an exclusive. Everyone understood that "exclusive" meant that the game would not appear on a competitor's CONSOLE. That hasn't changed.
Yet, now we have people complaining whenever a Microsoft exclusive title appears on the PC as well as on consoles, screaming "Not an exclu...
Days Gone is one of my favorite games from the PS4 generation. I generally don't replay games so m hoping that we'll see a sequel someday.
I can't think of a justifiable reason to put that much effort into finding a PS5 or Xbox Series X. If they were readily available I might pick one up but I'm not wasting my time trying to find one. Once there are more games for each console then I'll likely purchase both, but that's not until the end of the year, at the earliest.
Is this sarcasm?
I enjoyed my time with Control. Not enough to repurchase it to play the next-gen version, though.
You intentionally misinterpreted Spencer's comment to justify your anti-XBOX agenda. It's distinctly obvious that you are taking Spencer's words out of context. Well, obvious to anyone who's not an immature fanboy.
My question to you is why do act like this? What is the purpose of continually bashing MS and Xbox owners like your on Sony's payroll? Honestly, what do you get out of it?
Are you suggesting that game developers are not compensated for their titles that appear on Game Pass? Do you actually think that developers and studios would let Microsoft offer their games for free?
Microsoft negotiates a fee with the developers for each title that appears on the service. In some instances developers/studios have an opportunity to make more money from their Game Pass contract than they would from retail sales.
@cooperdnizzle
What would Microsoft have to do to entice you to buy a Series X? I think the Series X has a lot of potential, but at the moment it's not reaching the targeted goals. If the console lives up tot the hype and Microsoft releases some great exclusives, would you ever consider buying a Series X?
You believe that MS built a console that can produce 12 TF of compute power yet they will only take advantage of 1/3 of its potential? LOL!!! So how do you explain the resolution, FPS and graphical differences between the Series X and S? What happens if a particular third party game on Series X game looks and plays better than the PS5 version? Would that mean that the PS5 is held back even more by the Series S?
Stop what, telling the truth? My PS4 Pro is so loud that its actually distracting. It sounds like someone is using a hair dryer in the next room.
Yeesh. I have absolutely no interest in any of these games.
Great selection from PlayStation Plus. I already own both games but it's good to see that Sony is still offering AAA titles. I'm not sure about the bonus game, though.
I'd love to see the PlayStation VR2 become a big success. The current VR iterations haven't cracked into the mainstream. Perhaps Sony's device will be the one to do it.
It's really amusing to read all of this "bottleneck" nonsense from the N4G armchair engineers. You're all acting as if the Xbox Series X developers saw this Unreal tech demo and slapped their forehead saying "oh man, we f**cked up!".
I'm fairly sure that they didn't spend the last 4 years developing the Series X yet failed to take into account the bandwith requirements for next-gen games. In fact, their solution is addressed in this very ...
Anyone who claims that the Unreal 5 tech demo can't run on the Xbox Series X is either delusional or lying.
@LOGICWINS
What does your opinion on Aaron Greenberg have to do with this PS5 article? Did you post it in the wrong forum or is it something that you felt that you needed to get off your chest this very moment?
"... that hard work was ruined by ONE error."
That's a bit of a stretch there, chief. The negative reaction to the initial Xbox Series X game reveal has more to do with the public's overzealous expectations than...
@ABizzel1
Haven't you heard? Logic and facts are not tolerated on N4G when they are used to convey any potential positive aspects of Xbox hardware.
@Darkborn
That's great news for the PS5, but your response has absolutely nothing to do with my comment to DeadSilence.
Please use your vast technological knowhow and explain in explicit detail why you believe that the Xbox hardware and software engineers have "f****ed up". Break down the Series X architecture and let us know the cause for this prospective bottleneck. I'm sure the developers of the Xbox Series X would appreciate your insight.
One thing to note is that the load times for the PS5 version are only a fraction of a second faster than the Xbox Series X and S. Many people on N4G said that the PS5 would crush the Xbox Series X on load times but so far that doesn't seem to be the case, at least up to this point. The two competing consoles are very close in performance. We'll probably see some small advantages for each one on these multiplatform games.
