Why would that suprise you? Capcom can read. The install base for Xbox 360 is 18M, the PS3 is about 9M.
They can see the sales. They know that Xbox 360 owners are responsible for 42% of the current generation spending.
Capcom is like every other firm. They are in this to make money.
And, Xbox 360 owners are driving the industry.

Games like Halo 3, Mass Effect, BioShock, Forza 2, Gears of War, Lost Odyssey, Ace Combat 6, Dead Rising, Project Gothum Racing, Crackdown
Every one of those games has a higher meta critic score than almost every exclusive on the PS3 or Wii.
Thankfully, there are far more good games than poor ones.
For every turd, there has been an exclusive stellar performer.
And, unlike the competitors, the stellar games are far more frequent.

The Xbox 360 Arcade (and Core) play every single Xbox 360 title. No one is getting "ripped off" some people want a second machine for a nother room, or just want to play a couple titles -- or HEAVEN FORBID -- they care about...
These are the independant gamers that could bring their games to market with XNA Community program.
The game would be playable on Xbox 360, Windows and Zune (and probably the Danger Inc device that is forthcoming).

A new console, without any "history" that has to be answered to (backwards compatibility for instance) might have a lot to offer.

*Please* let this be true. KOTOR is a landmark game. Its one of the industry's most anticipated games for sure.
I like the D-pad. It moves nicely, has good action and a pronounced texture to feel your way around.
Guilty Gear 2 is another great game for gamers to enjoy.

No Xbox 360 owner is weeping for lack of FF. It is FF in name only, it has nothing logically to do with FF I thru XII, Squeenix has lost the great talent behind it.
