It is, as far as the console is, just a controller itself. And, the buttons are on a K&B instead of in the normal shape.

If *I* had to bet, I would say it will be *more* than 2:1.
Why?
A) Install Base. 10M vs. 18M.
B) GTA's has historically sold better in NA, and in NA, the install base gap is even more than 2:1. Japan has a good portion of the PS3 install, and GTA just doesnt sell as well in Japan.
It will probably be 2.75:1 maybe 3:1.
These people are paid analysts. Their predictions arent "always wrong".

Why the update?
The Xbox 360 version _IS_ superior. Why? Its the only version that will see expansions.
The GTAIII expansions actually *outsold* the original GTAIII. And, these are going to be DLC as opposed to a whole new disc.

MSFT has shown what its method is. They talk about games that are availabel _now_ or _very soon_. It's a different method.

I would say it comes down to if you want Rumble, Achievements, Leaderboards and quick Access to TruSkill ranked multiplayer.

It is important that people understand why these things happen on PS3. Its not just PSN, but the RAM & CPU resources that have to be occupied to make this happen on PS3.
