"This will finally answer the question about the 360's supposing plateaued capabilities no"

Who the fcuk is saying that? Certainly not the industry. The machine has plenty of horsepower yet to be exploited.

No one but the most narrow minded even entertains such folly. Please, cant you at least pretend to make sense, if not, take the trolls to the openzone.

Im not much of an Adventure gamer, but the game does look engrossing.

I'll probably wait until after the reviews and previews to see how the game plays before I decide.

That said, it does look as interesting to me as any Adventure has in a long time. And, its nice to see that it seems to be aimed at a older (ie: not children) gamers, by daring to tell an actual story during the game.

I think a massive tactical, persistent game-world like this will be very interesting and innovative.

I hope they implement some kind of "real time" and/or "tracked" occupation map like was in WWII Online.

The battles for territory can have a sense of "purpose" that the MMO universe normally has.

What else is interesting is this:

"Servers will be solely dedicated to accommodate millions of users enga...

It looks fantastic. The graphics are just one minor part of a game.

Clinton514, based on your icon, why dont you worry about kz/haze, and Xbox 360 owners will play Huxley.

You're just trolling here.

As gaming demographics change, more family games, gamers age start to match the general population as opposed to skewing towards younger people and on and on, people just dont want to game in their Computer Room.

I own my own home, my own couch and my own 60" Plasma. I want to play videogames in the living room, not in a room by myself.

Besides, occupying the PC from the family doesnt make much sense unless you want to buy a PC for them to surf/email/whatev...

PC games have -variable- graphic outputs. What you see is based heavily on your settings / graphics card.

The best games (graphically) will _always_ be on the PC.

The way the big PvP is setup is kind of like Frontlines;
Extended, tactical battles of large groups working towards a series of goals/tasks.

This is a Day 1 purchase for me. This is the new, innovative gameplay experiences that makes me want to buy a game.

Left 4 Dead is another good example. 4 men vs 4 unique zombies == awesome. APB -- MMO Sandbox game. These are the _innovative_ games I want to play.

There are all different kinds of User Generated Content. And, right now, there are many venues for UGC game content on Xbox 360.

There is only UT3 mods on PS3. Sure, they are different.

But we dont know what method of mod distribution will come on Xbox 360. I dont know. You dont know.

"Actually, the Unreal franchise was never about sales. It was about mod support in the community, which Epic Games takes a close look at to see what kind of talents are out there."

Is there _any_ attachment to reality here? 390,000 sales is _TERRIBLE_. Assuming $60 per sale, thats less than $25 Million.

After retailers, licenses, publishers, advertising -- how much of that do you think goes to support ongoing development?

If Epic doesnt...

Right. Because you know the contract details between Epic & MS.

EA (amoungst others) run their own servers for Xbox 360 games. Xbox LIVE is as flexible as it needs to be.

You dont know when, how or why things happen in the back-end for Xbox 360 games, so dont pretend you do.

Wow, decapitator, you're relentless eh? Trolling blogspot for anti-MS FUD.

Good work. You're ruining N4G.

You know all those MGS4 previews from last week?

Those were invite-only junket to Japan to see the game. How is this any different?

6529d ago 6 agree3 disagreeView comment

Why are you getting disagrees?

Because you're characterization of the Xbox 360 is fanboy-framing FUD.

The machine is excellent, and gamers love it. Your saying "has earned that kind of a name so passionately" notion is actually ridiculous.

YHOO has been bleeding money for like 6 quarters. Why dont you read a newspaper instead of bloviating on N4G about how much you think MSFT suxors m'kay?

This isnt a hostile takeover. Wired using the word "hostile" is wrong. MS isnt doing or saying any such thing.

A hostile takeover is when company A buys company B's stock against the wishes of CompA.

What MS has said is this to the YHOO Board: "You are losers. We know the shareholders disagree. If you dont accept the offer, we're going to collect proxy-voting rights and remove you."

This is a Proxy-voting war or "proxy w...

It looks utterly terrible frankly. A total blatant rip off of the so many games before it.

It looks like a tired, complete and utter failure.

I can appreciate you PS3 lot getting excited about MGS, but please, do you *really* expect people to think Haze is a quality title?

Lets wait until the reviews are in and people have played it. From the previews, I'd say it is epic fail.
