Very cool commercial. Seems like they are doing a good job to try and bring the DOOM series back to its former glory.
This was a good comparison. As stated above, the PC does seem to have better shadows, but overall I think they both look good.
Still haven't gotten my hands on this game yet.
Not to say you are wrong because you are entitled to your own opinion, but could you articulate how you know if this game is worth $60 or not?
What is your criteria for coming to this conclusion? Just curious.
No Man's Sky seems great, and it also looks to have TONS of content. I guess my question is, can someone point me to a source that says an "Indie" game can't be full price?
And so much hate for a game that isn't even out yet, funny how folks can't just wait and see how the game turns out, and just take it on it's own merits.
Definitely looking forward to seeing what they have done.
To anyone who has seen this game, is there a similar game out there you could point me to so I can get an idea of what Paragon is like? Seems cool, just would like a strong point of reference.
Thanks to anyone who can point me in the right direction.
Thanks for the input guys. I'll probably pick this up.
Wow, that is quite the difference. I have been waiting to pick this game up for quite some time, guess this year is it. I am curious to know if anyone has played the game, and how they liked it.
The wheels of progress never cease turning. Game Trailers will always hold a special place in my heart. I still remember checking everyday to see if one of my anticipated games had new footage released.
The only thing constant in life is change.
Not an XBOX fan, but I have fond memories of playing the first and second Halo games during undergrad.
Happy to see XONE get a great exclusive. And from the review, it looks like a blast.
Happy debate Wednesday everyone.
I would say there is room for both. If you have a good annual model, and as a company you feel there are consumers of your brand of game, then by all means you should go for it. But think of it this way, is food at a nice restaurant generally speaking, more refined than something at a fast food joint? I would say it is.
Seems like the same can be said with games. If you have a yearly model, there is less time to innovate, or implement ground breaking ideas.
I'm about 12% through the game, and I have to say that I agree and disagree with this article in equal parts. I feel this article is endemic of what is sometimes wrong with the gaming community. In the past, the Metal Gear series was criticized for being too linear, story drive, and cut scene heavy. While I do agree that the degree of freedom was limited, it did create some of the more memorable moments in the series.
With MGS5 I believe Kojima left it up to the individual to cr...
We do now brotha, because you told us. Should be good.
@ MastaPiff
I believe it was a tongue in cheek video, edited to rewind and move forward, that is why it looks like it's moving with the aiming.
I guess they were trying to be cute, presumably to drum up hype before the game's release.
It's called trolling. And/or the mentality that just because he/she didn't enjoy a game, then everyone should be just as disappointed. Best just to walk past and not make eye contact sir.
On topic:
I have a great feeling about this game.
However, given the fact that Kojima has a tendency to do things like this, meaning incorporating layers of meaning within his games, I would say this is grasping at more than straws.
I believe there is more evidence to support the subject matter of the video, than to support your assertion that it was just coincidence.
You may be correct kind sir.

Playstation only player here, just to fully disclose. Both games look great IMO. I was surprised by the Tomb Raider reboot, and I think the game will be something special. I do however think that Uncharted will again set the bar.
That being said, I think regardless of which you are able to get your hands on, both games are going to be something special.
Nice, I have been playing the definitive editions of many PS3 games (Fallout, Fallout:New Vegas, etc.) Now, it's time to begin getting them on PS4.
It's a shame that some games have to wait to be purchased, but the state of DLC these days dictates that if you are patient, you will most likely get a better value.
Just finished playing through the Mass Effect Trilogy on the PS3, after purchasing it for like $5 on PS+, now that's value.
Didn't even know that man. Sounds like they may have a long road ahead. I'm still in to try it I guess.
This is certainly great news.
