Exactly. It's mostly dudes and we still get complaints. Interesting to see the amount of consternation over women being depicted in games like 1% of the time. I can only imagine the outcry if they were depicted proportionate to their actual numbers in the general population, we'll be hearing guys crying male genocide in no time.
The silliness doesn't stop.
Hmm, show me a place where it says that it's going for 100% accuracy in its depiction of war. Plus, we are discussing the multiplayer aspect, so I think my point still stands. If this choice brings more enjoyment to more gamers, I'm for it.
Now if the game said war simulator somewhere and touted that as the main feature, your point would be more valid. Sorry.
While they should fix this, is it such a huge deal? I mean we see dudes in 99.99% of games. Plus, you don't even see your character when you are playing the game since it's a FPS. This whole bro culture is getting a bit much.
You may play as a ninja in both. Look up the very first Ghost trailer.
HA, nice! Guess the next gen will be when we really see cloud computing take flight, because it never really materialized to the degree MS touted.
Good game BTW, I enjoyed it for sure.
Odd comment. Would love to respond, but I would hate to misconstrue what you are getting at. If you are using pie as a euphemism for being gay or lesbian, I haven't seen any evidence that anyone is forcing you, me or anyone else to engage in any behavior against our will, but I could be wrong.
Point is if the game doesn't interest you, you don't have to buy it. Doesn't seem to justify coming online to malign a whole group of people would who would like to ...
Wow, the comments related to this story/game are disgusting. Gaming as a medium of expression, just like any art form, should be open to people of all walks of life regardless of race, gender or sexual orientation. There are tons of stories to explore in games and to make these insensitive comments based on your insecurities is truly sad and pathetic.
The gaming community is better than this.
If you read his actual post, it seems clear this is cut boss. I could be wrong, but it's how I interpreted it.
Exactly, not like you could pick up on a lot of detail in the faces before. Some folks just like to complain regardless of what has been presented.
About d@mn time son. Good news.
You said it. As much as people hate on BFV, at least they learned their lesson and are going to a model of "free" add-ons. I think we are getting to a point where nickel and diming the consumer will backfire on these companies. DLC should expand the universe of said game, not add elements that should have been in the "vanilla" version initially. Uncharted did this correctly, as did Horizon Zero Dawn. I agree I'll spend my money elsewhere.
I feel bad for the folks who look forward to playing around with the new features of the firmware update rather than just playing games on their PS4, must be a real bummer.
@AnubisG I think you are conflating the "controversy" of including women in BFV, and the actual gameplay mechanics present in the BETA. They did say that if you don't like the fact that they are trying to be more inclusive, you may not want to buy the game, I don't believe they ever said that regarding feedback on the beta, or any other performance related issue. If you have evidence to back up this stance by DICE, I'm sure everyone here would love for you provide a li...
I believe they usually do this when a new iteration of their games come out. This is cool because it solidifies the user base and gives the game a longer life. People are still playing Battlefield 4 as we speak. You can find 64 player games going on as we speak.
I could see if the game was new, but it has been out for a while now and any added value is greatly appreciated. Plus, if you don't like the Battle Royale mode, you are more than free to choose not to play it right?
Jeez. This is ridiculous. Let us try this, The Witcher series is a 3rd person action RPG, has been since its inception and is beloved for that. Cyberpunk is a different game by the same developer and is a 1st person experience as designed by the developer.
You want 3rd person CD Project RPG, go play the Witcher and/or wait for a new version of the game. If you are bitching about Cyberpunk being 1st person, don't get the game, it's not for you. Plenty of options ...
Sure didn't take long for fools to begin complaining about her look. Jeez, so predictable.
OT: Looks like this remake is getting a lot of extra work, I'm excited.
Or our current POTUS? That would be more timely and relevant than Hillary don't you think?
Had a similar issue man, but I tried it last night and it seems a lot more stable than it was. The game is a time suck for sure, I'm enjoying it more than I ever have now.
That's an awesome design. Looks like an Akira homage, can't wait for this.
