All jokes aside, it didn't seem too bad at all. Definitely stays safely within the CoD way of doing things, while attempting to add some innovation.
I would have to see more videos about this to really make a good assessment.
Seemed better than the last outing with Ghost though.
I'm a BF guy, but very interested in seeing what this is working out to be. Hope they really revamp things and bring some new concepts.
I am so excited for this game. I remember playing x-wing, wing commander and privateer and thinking, "wouldn't it be cool to have a seamless transition from space to the planets surface to walking around?"
Now these guys have made this a possible reality. The exploration, space battles, ocean exploration, resource management. I'm sure I'm missing some features, but this just looks outstanding.
Did you see the light speed jump? I seen...
This statement will not be taken well by some on this site.
I believe if we take the emotion away from the assessment of what was said, his statement may indicate that they may have added better effects, optimized animations, maybe tweaked the visuals overal. All these things can make a game look "better" in a lot of ways.
Overall, the takeaway from this should be that the PS4 is a very capable console, and one that should provide its users with pl...
I agree man. I been a PS guy from day 1, but I remember in undergrad at SDSU, playing Blood Gulch death match for money. Some of the best times in College for sure.
This game looks phenomenal. The animation and tone of the game are really awesome. The tone and setting reminds me of "The Prestige", but with monsters and no magicians, lol.
I like how you are still vulnerable, even with the black water. I can't wait for this one.
This looks great. Definitely an "Haloesque" feel to it. With the traditional game modes as the icing on the cake, I believe we are in for a treat.
The action looked well balanced for sure.
I lean toward agreeing with you that exclusive DLC is not the most effective way of selling PS4 gamers on EVOLVE, but lets wait and see what this exclusive DLC contains.
Definitely doesn't bode well for my day one purchase of this game.
I'll throw my 2 cents in. I believe this video, minus the technical choices in settings, etc, really demonstrates A) that Watch Dogs on the PS4 really holds its own, B) that watch dogs may not be a great representation of what any hardware is capable of, and C) if this is any indication of what's to come, we are all in for a treat going forward.
Unfortunately I didn't reserve this, but I will probably try to track a copy down soon, game looks great.
This looks great. Seems like there will be many options to choose from, even within the specific classes.
The characters definitely seem well thought out.
I'm at work and can't check, but this version of Metro will include both games correct?
OT:
This news will definitely get folks all up in arms. IMO, regardless of what version you get, I think you will have a great experience. I got the PS+ version for the PS3 and it looked awesome on the that hardware, I can just imagine what the updates will look on the PS4.
As a gamer, I'm just happy that everyone, regarless of camp or affiliation, wil...
This is awesome. I watched last week's "Canada" video again and it's hard to explain, but the cars have so much "presence" on the track. They seem to take up space and inhabit the environment in a way that I haven't seen before. And the lightting, and reflectioins,... astonishing.
Also, looking at the track itself and the details in the background, I noticed 0 pop-in.
I haven't purchased a racing game in years, but this mig...
I think there has been a shift in the reality of creating these games. These days, game development requires more resources and that translates into more risk at a loss of the game flops.
Also, unfinished or buggy games are not received well by the gaming public, as was seen with BF4. Due to their rush to market, DICE and EA ended up doing severe damage to the BF brand, something I don't see people forgotten anytime soon.
I don't think we will see an...
I would have to agree with his points. But the sad part is folks purchase this stuff, hence giving these companies the imression that it's okay to parce out content like this.
And to be fair to Ubisoft, they are not the only company parcing out content, but with the sheer number of different editions, they are sure in the running for the most egregious offenders at the moment.
These sorts of stunds really leave a bad taste in my mouth as a consumer. I ho...
I'm definitely interested in this one. Co-op holds a warm place in my heart, always some of the best gaming experiences I have had.
The info they have releases so far sounds great. Can't wait to customize and take on the Fallen. Should be fun.
So this is final and confirmed? Sounds a bit fishy that there would be so much confusion.
Should be interesting to see what happens when the Watch Dogs finally drops. Could be a similar situation to Assassin's Creed BF.
One thing is for certain, the game is definitely garnering a lot of buzz.
Hmmm.... given that Crytek has not developed a game on the PS4 yet and that there is a clear difference in real world performance since the release of the PS4 and X1, I find the conclusions in this article hard to believe.
Although the language used, "similar results" is open to interpretation.
Looking at the disparity in multi-platform games so far between PS4 and X1 games, I think Crytek is trying to ensure they don't offend anyone. That is th...
Guess we'll have to wait until the game releases to see if this was an honest mistake or not.
With the current climate in the gaming industry, I'm sure this will get the royal treatment by some and get blown out of proportion soon enough, as they already have.
I'm interested in seeing what this one has to offer, looks like the story might be very substantial.
It's great to see the PS4 version shaping up so well. I'm interested in seeing how the final product turns out. From what has been shown, this one should look great on all systems it's released on.
Good times ahead.
I really liked the first one (Played it when it became part of PS+ for the PS3), so this may have been a great move for MS. I do believe however that since it is only the 2nd game in the reboot, this may be a bad move for Crystal Dynamics in the long run.
It will be interesting to see how this all turns out.
