Based on their track record with the first DL, I believe we can all take this statement to the bank. Good on Techland, they will get my financial support for sure. The game looks awesome BTW.
This may work if there is a tangible reward for being a good citizen within the gaming world. Unfortunately, if f@#king with people is an option, there will always be a few fools who are more than happy to engage in troll-like activities.
I appreciate Kojima's honesty. Hopefully, when the game drops, we all remember that Kojima told us Death Stranding is about exploration and provides very little hand-holding.
To further break it down, if you want instant action all the time and a big red arrow pointing you in the correct direction, this is NOT the game for you. Doesn't sound fun to you, then move along.

That would suck if I have to start over again, I just got a new A class ship that I salvaged. I may just try to reach the center of the universe with the current glitches since they don't really seem to have huge effect. Glad I'm not the only one experiencing this.
Got back into this over the past month or so, and I gotta say I'm enjoying it. It's a time commitment, and definitely isn't a game with non-stop action, but within the game space, there is room for all genres. My only real question is with all these updates, is it worth just starting a brand new run, I have been experiencing a few glitches such as falling through the map when I exit my ship or having the bases and other objects load in a few feet off the ground. My initial reaction was that it is silly, but Toyota does predominantly have a reputation as a family-friendly company, so it kinda makes sense. Their inclusion in Fast and Furious is kinda hypocritical, but as we know videogames tend to garner extra scrutiny from people who are not part of the community. This seems to be a case of a knee-jerk reaction to a non-existent problem, but I guess they determined it's the best course of action for them.
First one was awesome, the closest thing to Colony Wars I have played in a LONG time. Looking forward to this one looks like a nice upgrade from the first.
Early gameplay, looks a bit rough around the edges (could be the Youtube video quality), but seems to have potential. I am looking forward to more information on this one for sure.

I thought this game was releasing on November 8, 2019, but you seem to have gotten an advanced copy. May I ask, how similar is to his previous games, does it control well and how is the game world setup? Is it a hub situation, open world,etc.
That's awesome that you were able to get an advanced copy, I'm interested in what exactly makes the game boring since you have played it all the way through.

Oh no, playable female characters in MP. I wonder how long it will take for the proponents of the false male genocide narrative to accuse Infinity Ward of bowing down to the social justice warriors or some other such nonsense. It's not like gamers come in all different shapes, sizes, and genders and would like to have a choice to have an avatar that more closely resembles them, or to play as someone who looks completely different. /s
