I really enjoyed the game and I am sure if they continued with the franchise it would be a big step forward the way Witcher 3 was to Witcher 2. I however don't really see what any expansions can do to fit in with the game seeing as any additional content just doesn't make sense in conjunction with the nature of the main story's time pressure.
You can still download them if you bought them previously, they have just gone like physical did years ago and remove them from being bought new. The only difference is that you can still buy them second hand in the physical market.
And the crowd goes mild
I imagine there will be a prologue before you get sent to Hogwarts and your decisions there will influence your house, along with questions the Sorting Hat asks you. Very hyped for this.
Good to see Microsoft stepping up here, hopefully the others will follow in the footsteps of the other Gaming companies who have already done so.
100% P4G on my vita is one of my favourite game memories I have. Such an awesome little handheld.
Not sure where I said that but ok bro. I just know M$ best due to prefering their consoles, thats all.
Thats making the assumption that those who game physically will all refuse to continue gaming on a playstation/xbox if it goes all digital. Some will, not all and id imagine not even a majority with the rise of Gamepass and Sonys upcoming equivalent.
Its where the industry is going, generation by generation. Its clear from at least M$ strategy that they see an all digital future, and one that streaming will eventually end up us the main way the masses play. Its why I think they are aquisitioning so hard to ringfence the industry from newcomers like Google/apple when the day arrives that gaming is a service rather than hardware. We should all enjoy physical for however longer it lasts.
Xbox game logo is now showing as optimised for Series consoles for some, so I think next gen versions are dropping tomorrow.
Well this year is Starfield and Redfall, two new IPs so off to a good start.
Except for the fact that none of the prospective aquisitions banded about are in a keiretsu, actual foreign ownership in Japan sits around 28% (Including Sony being majority foreign owned at this point) and there definitely being examples of foreign companies buying game studios, its a great article... End of the day if a Japanese company agrees to be purchase there is nothing going to stop it going through based off of past precedent.
The death of couch co-op for modern gaming is a travesty. Great to see GT keeping such a basic feature in its game.
Its a complete myth that seems to be perpetuated around here for some reason. There are no laws that prohibit American companies buying a Japanese company, which is moort as MS have a Japanese legal entity anyway. It both has happened and can continue to happen. Hell even Sony itself is majority owned by non Japanese stakeholders.
See basic law regarding Japanese aquisitions, note the industries subject to strict government review do not include gaming;
Seems ridiculously overpriced. Sony really got a steal with Insomniac.
The fact this is the current number 1 story on N4g and there is no story for the big new insight to the Sea of Thieves plans for 2022 tells you all you need to know about this community.
Covid Bonus, all these delays the last few years are bunching together game releases. 2023 is going to be off the charts.
He has an interesting interview in the WSJ today, basically said they bought it to stop Google, Facebook, apple etc buying it as they don't trust them, and said he trusts Nintendo and Sony. Given the stories of Activision approaching M$, guess they felt forced to buy it almost.
Haven't released any gameplay of Starfield yet, just an in-engine trailer. Id expect a gameplay reveal at e3
Mine too isarai, I cry whenever I buy wood these days. Even Bowl Blanks are ridiculously expensive for my Lathe too.
