I think we are going to see the effects of Covid on the Console launches this Winter. Will be interesting to see how many units they ship compared to the PS4 and see if its a case of more demand or fewer manufacturing/shipping capabilities just now. Demand seems just as high as everyone wanted a PS4 when it launched.
Well my PC is all SSD so its not like they are news to me, but transferring from my HDD to SSD is far quicker for me than downloading them again, my internet speed is only around 10mb. I tend to only ever have three big games installed at one time even on my PC, so i'll be fine with a 1TB for a good while anyway. Of course, other people's needs may be vastly different to my own...
That SSD price is expensive! But really it's only for convenience, I can't see why you wouldn't just have a normal massive HDD for your XSX or PS5 to back up games with and just copy it to SSD when you decide to play it.
I was in a queue at Currys at 8AM and there was 150k people in front of me, luckily I got one through Argos. So I would guess between 350-600k between all the stores easy?

Or as an alternative, he did an in-depth analysis of why it looked so bad and explained in detail how the time of day caused the shadows to wash out all the detail due to the lighting system they had chosen to use. But hey, actually being opened minded about an analysis that isn't just straight 'this is awful and garbage' doesn't seem to be an option for most people on this site...
Some Open world games definitely are, Games like Assassin Creed, Horizon and others where you have to find x, collect y mindlessly over and over again would benefit from being filled with less filler.

The amount of E3 that has been spoiled this week is beyond ridiculous.
That's incorrect, in 2013 there were 523 awards handed out for GOTY and in 2015 the number was 429, so Witcher 3 achieved more awards from a smaller pool which makes it even more impressive.

I'd rather wait to get a updated ps4 capable of playing 4k blu rays when they come out tbh, consoles small enough as it is.
Doesn't matter, Witcher 3 for me, one of the best games I've ever played, but even if it doesn't get one award it isn't going to stop Bethesda slapping GoTY edition on an edition of Fallout in a year.

It's kinda irrelevant tbh, I'm sure Microsoft would rather they were number 2 with more units sold than the 360 did than be number one due to PS4 selling PS3 numbers. Both consoles are doing great and better than the previous generations did in the same time frame. That's all that really matters at the end of the day.
