Thats not true at all though, Digital Foundry have got the CP2077 running on many 3000 series cards at frame rates that console players would deem as extremely playable;

a 4090 is absolutely capable of running it at insane frame rates. Heck that card does 8k60fps at least in a lot of games right now.
On console, quite probably thought Ragnarock and Flight Simulator on a good internet setting can both look insane. I don't think anything is touching Cyberpunk with PT ray tracing on PC though, thats a generational leap that we won't see from these consoles.
Flight Simulator can be pretty insane but its a different type of experience altogether.
Lol you do realise he is going to another Xbox Game Studios?
This site really is obsessed with individuals moving companies. Its an unfortunate truth in almost all industries that you can improve your terms and remuneration by moving rather than staying put.
Oh bugger off
There's clearly an issue theyvare struggling with that happens when they run it at 60fps on consoles, and they've decided that will be patched out once they dedicate time to it. Its not as simple as just tell the game what fps and resolution to run at .
Show me one game that's on Gamepass that you can't buy and own outright. I'll wait.
This is now the third approved article citing the same Sony response now with just a different headline. They aren't happy we get it.
Bwahahaha! What utter nonsense, even if every person who bought COD on PlayStation left to Xbox they would still have a massive lead in console sales.
I miss the old E3s but there is just no incentive anymore for the big publishers to share the limelight in a way that could make them seem bad if another publisher shows something stellar that looks better than their offerings. They all can easily put out a direct style presentation where they control the narrative and have the spotlight all to themselves.
Its about time, hopefully this creates competition and lower prices for the consumers.
It was always going to be niche and will come good as the generation goes on. Its seemingly a stellar jump forward so I have to belief more and more people will jump in once their wallets have recovered from buying the ps5 in the first place.
I am very jealous!
This is just naive and childish. Its Sony that prevents the fanbase developing on Xbox, not Microsoft. They pay for exclusivity on marquee titles to strangle growth of any fanbase on their competitors consoles.
This is just nonsense though. Final fantasy 15 sold 21% of its first week copies on Xbox. If you can't make the costs of porting a game over for that large an increase in sales volume then you are just incompetent as a developer.
The real reason Square aren't releasing games as we all know is that Sony targets the marquee titles that strangle the growth of that genre's representation on their competitors console. The result is that it isn't xbox not suppor...
If you are on xbox and a final fantasy fan, why would you buy a prequel to a game that Sony have paid to not appear on your platform? If you want to play Final fantasy you will likely own a PS, its a chicken and egg situation and the only way to build a fanbase on a console is by releasing games for it. The effort and cost outlay is minimal as well given they are releasing on PC, so its 100% Sony deals rather than low sales volume.
That game seemed perfect for PC
Loophole still works, just have to buy one month of Gamepass at full price.
Thats not a problem as its not whats being asked. Just because a tiny proportion of the gaming community has that luxury doesn't make it not exist.
