Isnt it a waste of money if you are a PlayStation fan though? Wouldn't you rather Sony was spending that money making your experience better rather than spending money to harm the experience of other console owners?

I can see the appeal of Unlimited funding through Gamepass's revenue methods being something Kojima would wan but this just doesnt seem likely, they don't fit together naturally. There are strange similarities between Abandoned and the way Kojima has trolled his game releases though, this article kinda gloss over them. The main director of the game is an unknown actor from Turkey with the initials HK, the companies initials are B.B (Big Boss). Just seems a bit Hideo-ey.
I find that more believable than MS snapping up Kojima exclusivity, that seems nuts to me. Huge win if so. We will be lucky to get one game from Kojima this gen if you let him lose ...

This Gen is certainly looking better than last for M$. We know Sony will bring it, Ninty will Ninty and looks like M$ will smash it out of the park as well. Good times ahead.
Without subscribing you still can buy the game at anytime if you want and you will own as normal. But if you are a Gamepass subscriber you can play it fully while its on the service, you'll get advance notice that its due to leave and the option to buy it anytime while its on the service with a 10% discount on its store price.
Looks like Sony will have to allow Gamepass onto their platform to get other Bethesda games going forward. Thats not going to happen.

I still think the big hitters like Doom, Fallout and Elder Scrolls will be multiplatform, with time exclusivity, which given the state most games launch in is almost a blessing for PS fans. The smaller games and new titles the likes of Dishonoured or even the two new games that are ironically timed PS exclusives will go full MS exclusive in the future.
