I think it's likely because his power set might be hard to translate into traditional game mechanics.
What do you design to give Superman a real challenge?
Even his flying could be hard. Thus far I've yet to play a game where flying around as a person feels good.
Yeah, the article really should be the "Best Headsets of 2014 So Far."
It always sucks to see staff laid off. Hopefully another developer decides to snag them.
He never claimed the game was perfect, nor does a score of 5 reflect a perfect game, it's merely the highest score he can award to it.
But you don't need to upgrade constantly. Much like a console a PC can last you ages, and will still be capable of playing the latest games. Of course over time you may not be able to play them at maximum settings, but again that's the same as consoles.
PC games are also cheaper, so arguably if you don't get caught up in the hype of upgrading every five damn minutes PC gaming works out cheaper in the long run due to the savings on games.
Console ...
Physical copy would be the most likely choice, there. I've not got the best Internet speeds, so I'll just grab a boxed copy :)
Nothing ruins your day like a bazillion tons of metallic fury landing on your head having been fired from freaking orbit.
Seriously, it's like someones trying to hurt you or something.
I too was sadly a victim of this heinous crime. It's alright, though: I got revenge by throwing an Arc grenade in his face and dropping my own Titan on him :D
Agreed. It mixes elements of various games. However, I would say that the way it does that, the way it brings everything together and the way each element is designed, does feel new and fresh. Pick each piece apart and you can see where it all comes from, but as a complete package it's a different story.
@AKiss
As someone who has spent a lot of his life taking part in tournaments for various games, competition is something I understand, so I see where you're coming from. Even after stepping back from the tournament scene competition still drives me.
I do have a question, though, and let me be clear this entire post is typed with genuine sincerity, so there's no confusion and I don't come across as being sarcastic or something. Why do the bots make...
I disagree. Why does that make them a waste of space? Less skilled players get to have fun, contribute to the team and feel good about it.
Meanwhile, skilled players are still going to be on top of the boards as they'll be killing more AI and pilots, who are worth more points.
Sounds like a win-win to me.
It's still being processed in the Cloud, according to Respawn. But they don't seem to be too bothered about talking about it now.
Back in the January they corrected an article with this Tweet:
"This article is wrong, AI is processed in the cloud. I think you misunderstood."
The article was then corrected

Yes, but the important question is can I spray annoying graffiti all over my friends base?
Priorities, people, priorities :P
But as Zod above me said, I'm interested in knowing whether you'll have any customisation control over your base, or whether its growth is linear.
Nice! I've been having a blast with it already, and a figure-8 track should be pure mayhem.
Bugbear have impressed me already with what they've shown. Fingers crossed the finished product is as good.
I agree that Titanfall seems very likely, but whether or not it'll be on PS4 is harder to judge. Obviously it'd allow Respawn to target a much larger market, but I'm also willing to bet that Microsoft will make some big offers to keep it exclusive.
Let's be fair to the guy, when you go read all of his Tweets he doesn't actually have a problem with his coding being used, and seemed genuinely enthusiastic about the game itself. But he did mention that if AC code is in the game it'd be nice to get a mention in the credits :D
Ultimately for Activision it's going to come down to sales number, and even with a decline, which hasn't been that large, it's still selling freaking loads aand making the company plenty of money. At this point reuse of assets etc. must be keeping dev costs relatively low, so profits must still be vast.
Why would they stop making them, if there's still clearly a large amount of people that want them?
Or as a reboot they were not judging it overly much in comparison to past DMC game.
According to the developers they felt 6v6 players hit the sweet spot for the style of gameplay they want to have.
Yes, the maps are relatively small due to the jetpacks/parkour.
I have no idea what I just read :D
DLC sizes have gone up by 8.8 times what they once were.
Sadly my Internet speeds have not done the same to keep up with it :P
