A rather short review for a game that has quite a bit to talk about. I'm rather surprised that the reviewer didn't go into detail regarding the revamped singleplayer, the Rivals mode (which got a brief mention) or even the heavily tweaked handling model.
While I don't hold with pirating, one thing does always annoy me; they claim that they lost money to the pirates.
The majority of people that I've talked to that pirate a game, wouldn't have bought it anyway, so therefore you didn't actually lose any money by them pirating it. Of course if they were going to buy it and then pirated it anyway then fair enough, but so far, as I said, most people I've met that have downloaded a game were not going to buy it...
To be honest you weren't missing that much by not finishing the singleplayer, though the armor was worth it.
I personally enjoyed leading him into various caves filled with horrors and leaving him there. Poor bugger
I wonder if I could fit this thing in my house.....

Hmm, I've been following you guys for a while now. A slight step up from what you've been posting, but this review needed some serious work.
Anyway, another high score for the game. Certainly looking like it could take the crown for the game with the highest average review score this year.
@fluffy. True, you can't just trust anyone, but a review is ultimately an opinion of a game, no matter how neutral the reviewer remains, and so not every score for this game is going to be a ten :)
Reviewers are perfectly allowed to give games a score lower than 10, I hope you realise?
I honestly see no problem with the review. An 8/10 is still a good score by any means and Eurogamer offered, and this is the important but, their opinion on the game. Every gamer and reviewers opinion on a game is different, so why freak out about it?
Just because you think it deserves 10 doesn't mean Eurogamer's review is wrong, and the same applies when it's reversed; just because Eurogamer things it deserves an 8 doesn't make you wrong, either.
But Uncharted 2 and Uncharted 3 are not the same game, so how can he be contradicting the previous review?
Just because a multiplayer component felt fine in one game of the series does not mean it feels as good in the next. It has also been two years since the previous game and expectations of what multiplayer offers has also moved on, so Uncharted 3's multiplayer has to be judged by current standards. perhaps if he reviewed Uncharted 2 by todays standards he wouldn'...
They're essentially just the PX5 but with Call of Duty branding them makes them far more expensive. Therefore I'm sticking to my PX5's :D
It could, but that's a pretty big ask for a third game in a series as the initial "wow" factor has worn off now. But you never know :D

Anyway, I for one think it's a good thing, as this way the review will actually reflect the product the general public get to play.
As EA said, many reviewers review a game which is getting a day-one patch well in advance, but the game they review won't actually be the one you get on launch day.
Some horrendous bug that the reviewer encounters several weeks before release in his build of the game may mark the the game's score down massively, but the day-one patch may eliminate that bug and the general public would never have encountered it.

I'd also have to question the fact that the author believes they are referring to all women on the planet and how they aim to belittle womens achievements throughout history. I'm sorry, but calling one womam a "b*itch" in no way implies that every other woman on the planet is one too, and it certainly doesn't mean that the writer...
A very enjoyable read and an impressive score for Battlefield. I'm looking forward to hitting the battlefield tomorrow and seeing if my previous skills in the series are still intact :D
