Does Modern Warfare 3 have dragons? no? Insta-win for Skyrim :D
I do feel as though the genre has become over-saturated, but its popularity just seems to keep growing, so I'm clearly out voted on that one :D
The best reason of them all :)
A interesting idea, certainly, but I think I'd rather play Battlefield 3 and Arkham City to pass the time :)
A niche title that's never going to do as well as it deserves on the market.
I've had many happy hours playing Tropico 4, and even learned an important lesson while doing so; if you get the opportunity to rule an island, don't take it! Far too much work.
Good stuff, I'll have to go have a lookie at the review :)
Not being able to open the door until the game lets you isn't a failure as such, no, but it is bloody irritating. The rest I would class as failures, though.
Even if it is dissapointing, which in all fairness is very possible, I'm probably still going to love it. It's like Oblivion; it had many flaws, but I still loved that game like no other :D
Ah, that last reason brought a smile to my face :D
A surprisingly enjoyable read, I feel.
Well, it's certainly leading he catagory for highest scoring game on Metacritic with an impressive 95.
On any other year I would have probably agreed with you, but considering the wealth of titles that have come out this year it's going to be an incredibly close fought battle.
Poor unboxing vide, I do agree.
Even as massive Elder Scrolls fan I just can't justify splashing out on this edition of the game. The final nail in the coffin came when he mentioned that the statue felt really light and the base was made of plastic. It just looked, quite frankly, rather cheap compared to something like the Marcus statue in the Epic Edition for Gears 3.
That art book, though......hot damn!
I do! Call me old fashioned but there's something nice about having a hafty guide to consult when I'm playing through a big game. My Oblivion guide is like a Holy Bible to me.
Let me do the maths here: at 650 pages that's just about enough to be able to use the freaking thing to beat whales to death!
That's one epic guide, especially when you consider that the Game of the Year edition of the Oblivion guide wieghs in at 496 pages!
I've put a considerable amount of time into it and I'm loving it. A great game that wil most likely get overlooked in this tide of triple A titles. Sad but true :(
Exactly, ever reviewers opinion of the game is going to be different. Just because you disagree with the score doesn't make them idiots.
The spelling and grammar in this review are terrible!
A good score, but a poor review.
The problem is that if you include a singleplayer component to your game then you have to be ready for it to be compared to other singleplayer experiences on the market. So in that respect I think the reviews were entirely fair. Maybe DICE should have stuck up a notice at the start of the singleplayer explaining it was a training mode :D
Of course a singleplayer component of any type is still a welcome addition to the series and I'm looking forward to blasting through i...
Nope, it's not mandatory, mate.
I'm quite looking forward to it as it seems that Bioware have put some thought into crafting an interesting multiplayer component instead of just chucking team deathmatch into it.
Words just can't describe how awesome this game is looking :D
Here's a question for you guys, though: are you going as a bat or a clown?
A nice little read.
Since I started doing game reviews and working with various publishers around the world a few years back I've often found myself almost horrified by what I've encountered. The biggest problem I've seen is websites granting high scores simply to ensure they keep getting games to review from the publishers.
Worse is the black art of getting black listed because of review, article or news piece. EA, for example, simply won'...
