not to down play the 360, but I wonder how it hard it would be for the consumer to decide which platform to jump on (in terms of first timers), especially with bundle like these: on one side you have 360 with its own cool deals and on other side you have PS3 with its own neat inclusions. Both at the price of $299, but PS3 has a blu-ray player that gives it some advantage.
I really don't like these tight spots, but I guess many other things need to be considered such as how many f...
it was a good franchise they just stopped dead. One mistake and they wrote it off like it was nothing. I hope sale go strong for it on PSN so people know that it is still remembered quite fondly.
shouldn't this sort of information be kept confidential until after PlayStation 4 has been developed? Even if decisions change later on, I hope MS and Sony keep a tight lid on these things so one console doesn't out class another, well then there's cost to consider.
Dino Crisis is finally up! :). Though I already own it, but I hope this helps Dino Crisis to be re-discovered.
Also, I might get Flower, it looks beautiful.
thanks for all that info and reassurances, both of you :).
If I have the same system but I want to upgrade my HDD, I can still download all of my games right without any penalties or such? These downloads are unlimited though right, for PSN games? I heard you can only download your purchases up to five times.
some of those people are basing their opinions on weakly reasons as to why it shouldn't be revived. Personally I 'd rather see it continued but a reboot would be just fine.
can't wait for some official info about it. Honestly speaking, Dead Space is the only other scary game besides Siren Blood Curse this gen.
but can anyone clarify something for me. I updated to new firmware, but I'm not seeing the facebook icon anywhere on the XMB. The photo feature loads fine, but no facebook. Is it restricted to US only, or do some Canadians here have it?
I usually mute the TV whenever commercials appear, but now I always watch these with volume turned on as they are actually funny.
No Canada, a country that is supposedly part of NA.
but they have been spending so much time with these that it shouldn't be a problem implementing such a feature since it was the most criticized of all. But it may cause information load time problems for wireless folks.
why the heck they didn't do something in likeness of what was posted here soon after the 3.00 update? I remember someone doing a slick design for PSN friends list, which was pretty awesome and well organized with all the info one would need about a friend in his or her tab. It was posted on quite many places, Sony would have seen it. That would have been sweeter, anyways now the list looks a lot better though.
preferably this time using Kevin Sorbo for model :D. Also, his brother would be a welcome addition.
I never finished the game though but I remember it being one of the best RPG on PSOne, graphically it was stunning.
frankly even if they did come out with a new console, I wouldn't be able to afford one for another 4 years at the very least. Plus, current gen consoles have only just begun to live so give it time.
I don't get what's with the disagrees, I only asked a question. Seems like you can't even do that or else fans get upset: not cool guys, not cool.
have they enable smoothing and upscale options if they are running the originals on PS3? I don't know, when I play originals on Ps3 they look better than those comparison pics.
were the best moments in the demo, you could really see the visceral details of the savage nature of the game. However, I think the head tearing moment should have been bit slower and even more detailed, especially when showing skin stretching and tearing. Because that moment just begs for it.
I think the most important aspect of online gaming should be how seamless multiplayer really is, in that sense PS3 should have gotten a higher score: but that's just my understanding even though I don't play multiplayer modes, but I have seen them run smoothly on PS3. Also in terms of content they didn't mention PS1 classics making their way onto PSN, plus other titles such as Siren, Pixel Junkie etc.
However, when all said and done, I'd agree with them that PS3 is a better value...
