but will give this a try since I am a fan of Sherlock Holmes. I haven't been to see the movie yet, 'cause of Downey of course. He doesn't strikes me as a good candidate to play Holmes, let alone being a perfect candidate. Have people here seen it? Is it any good?
that would allow us to buy more. After all the taxes, cost of one game is enough to affect your pockets deeply especially if you're earnings are less.
but why would he shoot him? Either the employee did something to provoke him or the robber was just mad.
I was really hoping to try out the demo, the game actually looks enjoyable.
They both will cater to their respective audiences, but I find myself going with PS3's motion controller as I require something physical in my hand. Natal is PSEye, only augmented in terms of capabilities: but I'm interested to see how far MS will support it and how far they'll push that tech. If they support it enough, I think it will do fine.
that is bloody awesome. This really outshines LBP's custom character creation features. I should probably start downloading the game soon.
in my beliefs, exposing oneself is improper and rightly so. Really, do you want people to be looking at you with who knows what going through their minds seeing you half naked? I get it takes place in hell, but why the need to beautify it then?
Also violence is something different. You know when its right and when its wrong, it's entirely different thing. It doesn't concerns your privacy; it is not intimate.
I doubt my views would settle well with western ideologies...
I did find the excess of nudity in Dante's Inferno bit bothering, I didn't expect it would be in such abundant amounts. Even GOW kept it to minimum levels. But this is really stretching it. Before people come on me with double standards crap, I would say that violence is one thing but nudity is something else. I look at it as a privacy issue, and respect towards women.
but at least I'm getting something rather than nothing. The controls seemed a bit rough though, I have driven a real car from time to time and it doesn't handles the way it was in the demo, especially the turns, even in slow speeds I would skid to the sides. Maybe I'm doing it wrong, I don't know. But one thing's for sure, I can't wait for the whole package: I have always admired GT games for their sleek graphics and awesome car selections.
Perhaps that's the reason UC-2 lost to AC-II, providing VGA uses voting system. No harm though, I think both are great games. It just that AC-II got more exposure because it was multiplatform.
But hey, UC-II won GOTY: so cheers ;D.
but good news. I loved the first game and have no doubt that the studio would put out another solid title.
however, I like how in DI we get more control out of the monsters we ride, I hope we have something like that in GOW-III as well: maybe there's still more to see. Moreover, I would say that GOW best utilizes the quick-time button mapping as its more clearer than DI: the latter being bit confusing during the heated battles.
but for some reason, I can't help but think that it's an empty hype. I'll take it back if proven wrong.
Alone in the Dark was very ambitious, a bit too ambitious that it fell flat on its face due to all the flaws it had: though fixed for PS3 version. However, this game seems to be a bit more refined version of Alone In The Dark: of how it should have been. I honestly can't wait to try it out.
Most of all I find it appalling that assaulting a government official costs you more than assaulting your fellow citizen: where's the equality in that? My friends and relatives have always told me about how bad it is with U.S. officials (especially when it comes to people of different race and ethnicity), and this news isn't helping with their image.
this game will be incredibly magnificent! Alright, given that it seems like it is Kratos under that armor with a little slimmer look (even the way he runs looks like him), but overall the experience was amazing. I found that the beast controlling feature in Dante's Inferno (coincidence) was much more appealing than in GOW-III demo, providing that was the full gist of it: maybe they've made changes since the E3 demo (I hope).
There was only one minor annoyance though, the button-s...
GOW games maybe "lackluster" in combat, that's according to you, but they certainly outshine their competitions in terms of presentation style, delivery of story, puzzles, and music. DMC games and Ninja Gaiden games have always felt restricted to me (but that doesn't make 'em bad), meaning they were a bit too character focused while hardly giving any attention to the environment. GOW had much more wider presentation of its art. GOW games (and now Dante's Inferno) provide a much more...
finally we'll be able to hear our hero, that was one big complaint of mine from DS-1. I like the idea of fighting a monster from the inside (reminds me of how Hercules defeated one of the sea serpents from Hercules Legendary Journeys) it hasn't been tried before: at least to my knowledge.
The new type of AI for monsters & the new gameplay mechanics: it's going to be great!
I'm equally hyped about Dante's Inferno. The game might be blatant copy of GOW in terms of gameplay, but I think it has enough originality to warrant it a purchase. Everything we have seen up until now has left quite a positive impression; on me at least.
and must say, it is really good for its price. I'm able to run Mass Effect to high enough settings without any problems. It also runs COD-MW-2 very well on high settings.
