Resident Evil has been getting too much attention in my opinion, I think we do need a break from those, and Capcom should release its next sequel to Dino Crisis. I'm not into MMORPGs thus I can't say I'm excited for The Old Republic, I'd rather play a single-player game. Therefore, Bioware should consider a proper KOTOR release.
Besides those sequels, how about Vagrant Story 2? Or Timesplitters (as mentioned above?) Or how about proper continuation of King's Quest Series or maybe...
Mind you, if you're going to bring in innovation and stuff, than why not mention the first Alone in the Dark. I think for its time, it was scary and brought in many features that RE series went onto use in their games. And it was the first 3D horror game, better structured. Plus, it had a much more colorful story, similar to the works of H.P. Lovecraft. In terms of pure horror, Silent Hill should be at the top. the game does gives off vibes of a cross between Silent Hill and Alone in the Dark series, (not a bad thing mind you). After that news of Dead Space 2 going action-oriented, I think this title would be a great addition to horror genre, but I'll wait for the reviews first as there are many games coming out which are on higher priority for me.
the new Alone in the Dark, there are many similar gameplay elements though this one might come out to be bit more refined.

they said the stuff they couldn't fit onto DVD will be made available as DLC, which will only be in favor of gamers if its free seeing as how it was supposed to be part of the disc itself. Sometimes, I do wonder what games will be like, mostly those exclusive to 360 if they were specifically made for PS3 with Blu-Ray in mind. I think there would be some sort of gameplay difference. I just wish MS had also gone with Blu-Ray, but then again it would have screwed over their initial user base.

Hercules vs Kratos, one fight I always wanted. But the fact they are making them brothers in this is all the more epic (well naturally since Zeus is Kratos' father, no telling how many other brothers he has), can't wait to see how it turns out. Will it be the same brother that was left to burn in Tartarus? (seems unlikely though). Having him in likeness of Kevin Sorbo is a wishful thinking but at least he's in there.

I haven't seen one video in which HR tops Uncharted in terms of facial animation and top notch voice acting. However, it doesn't seem too bad that it would distract from the overall experience.
I don't get why people make it seem so bad. Also, IGN has been very fair in their reviews so far, for past couple of months I haven't seen one review that wasn't spot on in terms of overall quality of the game. They aren't as harsh as Gamespot at least. However, on to the game, I do agree pretty much with everything they stated. Still, I think the game serves as good test run to see what the audience like or dislike about it so if there's a sequel they can takes notes as how they can differen...

for us who have played the previous games, this is an exciting moment for the story is coming to an end :D. Every aspect of the game looks fantastic, even if somewhat familiar, which is a must as the guy said to have consistency.
