where every DC, Marvel, Dark Horse, WB etc etc owned characters fight SquareEnix, Capcom, Konami, Namco, Sega/Nintendo's characters, basically "Everyone VS Everyone", that'd be the best VS game of my dreams ;P. It would take years, but heck it'd pay off in the end.

that plays most of new stuff, it's slightly better than the one listed in the article. Better yet, I traded in my old P4 and got about $200 off, so all in all paid $600 for it :D. Keeping in mind all this, I wonder why anyone would pay more than $1000 for a good gaming machine. I get they must be super-fast, but $2000 is a bit much.

and that PS3 had have fallen in that limit for them to air a program about it? That is ridiculous by itself. I'm not saying I believe the 0.5% measure of failure rates, just that it's stupid of Watchdog to set limits on something that can never be known for 100% certainty.

who I first of all doubt as a credible gaming journalist. However, I see people are still bitter about MG franchise going multiplatform, but you know in your heart that it was inevitable.

I too still feel bit of a sting when I think about what MGS-R could have been thanks to PS3's blu-ray but there's no point in wondering about that. Ps3 got the best of MGS title: that is 4, exclusively on the console in its best of shape and it will remain exclusive. Furthermore, this new story...

that's comforting to know. New tech keeps coming out so fast than the wallet hardly has a chance to get replenished ;P.

would that get me through games for at least another year. Right now games such as Resident Evil 5, Crysis Warhead, and Devil May Cry 4 run all fine at high settings with exception of Crysis which sometimes fluctuates in terms of frame rates. 4800 series don't support DX-11 do they?

Anyways, these new cards are looking mighty awesome, I may save up for them but if my 4800 can handle games for another year (meaning coming soon games for PC): then I'm in no hurry.

My personal experience with Sony and its products has been great. We bought a Sony Trinitron TV 10+ years ago and it still works, only after 7-8 years it suffered any damage, which was minimal and it continues to work today. I also had a Ps3 break on me but hey I bought it used and Sony guys told me it was previously opened by someone, but since I got my replacement everything's been fine.

However, from what I have read, Ps3 has had less failure rates than 360.

In an...

yes I checked out the rom. I would say controls are bothersome, but not bad. I would have preferred controlling the character with the D-pad because there are times when you write up an object, sometimes it appears on different part of the screen and if you miss the object by a pixel, your character might end up falling in the pit or lava and ruin the level.

Some of the physics is bad too, such as the character easily knocking over objects heavier than the character itself, or bi...

it sounds more like a sarcastically written article than a serious one. In any case, I used to think PSP was better before I bought a DS, and honestly I like them both for what they offer now. They are two different systems with their own appeal.

I may actually get a DSi and sell off my lite. I have a GBA so I won't miss the backwards compatibility.

then is it possible we could write Batman and have him in the game :)?

I just love the way dialogue is handled in the series. Is "Poetic" the right term for it?

Awesome. Let's bring out Soul Reaver, RE-2-3, and Dino Crisis now.

if people are going to be dishing out $250, they might as well add another $50 and get themselves a current-gen console that also plays blu-rays. $199 for PSP-Go sounds more comforting than $250. For now I'm quite happy with my PSP-1000.

I will visit the local retro game store on Friday and hopefully find a good deal. The last Sega console I had was Mega Drive, and in my opinion it's still one of the best retro consoles of all.

should I get the console? Is it a good retro console to have in one's collection?

they were some of the best, plus I can't afford to spend $50 on Silent Hill of that era, I'd rather spend that amount on its remastered version. Don't know why it's going for such ridiculous price anyway. However, I would like some PSX classics to be remastered.

could actually turn into a great horror game, well simple point and click horror adventure would be better imo.

but I want a single player demo, because I don't play online.

so of course they had to add in something more in PS3 version so people actually buy it for PS3, plus Ps3 owners had to wait to get this game. This is what ends up happening if you buy timed exclusivity, example Bioshock. Plus, I think devs would want to use blu-ray's massive storage capabilities.
