3DS had more games shown, but most of them were games I'm not so thrilled about before trying them, but could most probably enjoy. Vita had a lot less games, but they were games I'm more interested in. So IMO it was a tie.
Judging by the disagree, one person doesn't want gaming to reign forever. What's someone like him doing on this site? Lol.
Even though this gen hasn't seen much 2D Mario platformers, there has been a total of:
- 11 Mario Party games
- 4 Mario Pinball games
- 15 Super Mario Platformers (not counting re-releases to make the number seem bigger like you are in the case of GoW...)
- 11 Mario racing games
- A lot of Mario puzzle games
- 8 Mario RPG games
- Even more Mario sports games
And yet still you imply that God of War and Halo a...
And Mario is like on his 200th entry? Don't get me wrong, I like Mario but your logic is flawed. Also out of the 3 Mario games revealed at their press conferece I would've hoped for at least one to be more like Galaxy.
It may not look dated with a quick glance, but let's face the facts. Everything on PS3 or Xbox360 is dated from a technological take on graphics and especially when you play very close attention to the smallest details. PC has games with far superior resolution, framerate, anti-aliasing etc etc.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to tell you PC games are superior or anything like that, I'm just reminding you of some facts. Whether they are relevant or not is s...
@Joe2911,
As someone who has enjoyed 3 generations of gaming with Sony as the center piece for me, I do care and am happy about it. Sony's financial situation hasn't been ideal lately so of course I care.
@shintowave123,
Perhaps he just, you know, disagrees? Is your opinion the absolute truth?
Uncharted - climbing like a monkey, defying death against all odds, finding ancient treasures which are cursed, shooting a lot, jungles, mountains, deserts, cities.
The Last of Us - trying to move without being spotted, surviving, minimum shooting, crumbling city overgrown with plants.
Yeah, totally same games...
& Wonderbook.
Vita will have 60 new games this year and also (finally) support for PS1 games. They are also finally really pushing PS3-Vita cross play. Also new apps were announced at the press conference. How does that equal to Sony not caring about it?
The wonderbook segment was more like 10-15 minutes. I agree that it will have an extremely niche market but how does that mean that they've lost "all touch with their fanbase"? Games like PSASBR, GoW:A, Beyond:2S, TLoU etc sa...
Are you kidding me? MS gave like 20 minutes of their conference to games. Wonderbook sucked big time but at least it didn't drag on for most of the show like MS' non-gaming festival.
It most probably utilized the tech that was shown in Kara. That thing about shooting the body, face and voice at the same time.
At least Sony gave most of it's time to GAMES.
I understood it requires an always on Xbox 360?
@beerkeg,
I've personally had more fun with platformers like Ratchet & Clank, Sly Cooper, Crash Bandicoot (PS1), Spyro (PS1) and Jak & Daxter. But Mario has a special place in my heart too though. :)
You dislike Sony fanboys, but not MS fanboys. Am I right?
*INB4 "not unique enough, doesn't matter"*
Jokes aside, looking forward to AC3 and whether it will be as good as the shift from AC1 to AC2 or not.
GTA San Andreas Stories for Vita would blow my mind.
No, I'm sure non-PS3 owners made a whole lot more noise when PSN was hacked.
Every single year there are tens and tens of articles of who will "win" and who "won" E3. It's hardly anything he came up with.
Lower price, more games. Though I personally wouldn't buy a PSP anymore.
