Glad to see someone give EDF some love. It's one of the most enjoyable "6 out of 10" games out there.
It's also great to see Folklore and Madworld up there.
I'm an American, and 3 out of my top five RPG's (Paper Mario, Pokemon, FFVII) are turn based.
Just shut the hell up SE...
By showing a new Zelda, Donkey Kong, Kirby, Goldeneye, and Kid Icarus all in one show. Most of us were expecting casual crap followed by Zelda at the end. Boy, did they prove us wrong. They also showed Metroid: Other M, Golden Sun, and Dragon Quest IX. Those were already announced, but the important thing is they were core games as well.
The only casual games shown were the dancing game, Wii Party, and the Mario sports compilation.
So lets see, that's...
Yeah... this tool has no idea what he's talking about. E3 goes to either Nintendo or Sony. You have to go by personal preference, because it's waaayyyy too close to call from an objective standpoint.
By far the best Nintendo conference of the Wii era. Just awesome.
I mean, when they were recapping all of the games they showed, they had to cram those icons on the screen, and only a few of which were known before today. That's what I call a productive press conference.
And then they go and announce that freakin Metal Gear and Resident Evil, along with a ton of other games, are coming to 3DS. This effectively proves that Nintendo's third party i...
For me, it's no doubt Nintendo. I'm a hardcore DS fan and the 3DS looks amazing. The Kid Icarus surprise was,IMO,even more unexpected than the Twisted Metal surprise.
On top of that they unveiled reboots of Donkey Kong and Kirby. Two of my favorite series.
Sony's presser was great, no question, but Nintendo appealed so much more to me this year.
So they're finally here, performing for you
If you know the words you can join in too
Put your hands together, if you want to clap
As we take you through this monkey rap!
Yeah... I hope it's a DK reboot lol.
Insulting. That's the only thing I can say about what I watched.
Ah, Eroge...
It might be taboo in the USA, but in Japan it's not only legal, but a semi successful subgenre. Some of the more popular ones get an anime or manga adaptation.
Don't like gears, but that trailer looked alright.
That was a pretty funny segment because it perfectly described how noobs are treated.
You: "I'm new to the game."
Teammate: "Then go Hide!"
lol. Quagmire's "You suck" at the end of the episode was also pretty funny.
The new city graphics and the new camera view during battles are going to take some getting used to. Looks good though.
I'm up for changes, but I don't want them to change the game mechanics too much. So I'm cautiously optimistic.
I want 6 moves, enhanced pokemon cries, better graphics engine, and more balanced movesets/stats for the pokemon.
I say let Apple enter the handheld gaming market. Nintendo will just embarass Apple's system like they've done with the PSP and every other handheld that has tried to dethrone them. I just can't see anything stopping Nintendo in the handheld market.
But I don't agree with a few things...
GOWIII & AC2 should switch places.
Demon's souls and batman should switch places.
Everything else is okay where it's at. Just my opinion.
Let it be Retro Game Challenge 2. It's already out in Japan, but due to comments made by the publisher, I doubt we'll see it stateside. Which is a shame, because the first game was awesome.
Looks like MS is going to have a damn big E3. I think Sony will have a good showing, too, but to completly overshadow MS, Sony needs to announce a certain long rumored and highly anticipated title. A title that a large amount of gamers eagerly look for at TGS and E3 each year. Of course, I'm talking about the FF7 remake. If this were announced as a PS3 exclusive, it would shake the gaming world to it's core. This game is almost Unanimously wanted by all gamers. In the unlikely Event that SE u...
I knew this thing was going to flop. Consumers and retailers aren't ready for a 100% digital system with no option of physical media.
Wow, that was quick. I still expect one sooner or later though.
But I don't give a damn. I don't think it's deal braking expensive, I was preparing for $250-300 worldwide anyway. So it's no big deal for me.
