Well I've always said that Virtua Fighter is the best 3D fighter around and the obvious version to get was the 360 version, but I remember people were trying so hard to argue that Tekken Dark Resurrection was better and Tekken 6 would be the best, this was back then when they thought Tekken 6 would be an exclusive.
If there hasn't been any drastic improvements over the version I played in France, I'd say it is smart not to showcase it in UK, especially with Forza just having launched.
In case you didn't know, damage system has been absent in GT.
Basically, no other game gives this level of customization, that's all we need to know.
This guy sounds like a neophyte in racing games, so NFS is really the perfect game for him to start out on. When he graduates to the next level, he will appreciate the more sim-like controls of GT. And when he's finally ready for real world driving and absolute car-enthusiasm, he'll completely fall in love with the definitive experience provided by Forza 3.
daffy are u sure you watched the video before posting or even own a ps3?? Nothing in the video showed the gameplay that I experienced playing the demo downloaded from psn which has been described above. I guess you're just one of those who post without viewing the article.
I did however enjoy the use of time bubble in combat. I guess that much was fun.
Hi Kavet, I can see where you're coming from. Take Forza 3 for example, it pushed the genre to untouchable heights but you see so many people trying to discredit it, possibly for the reason that these racing non-enthusiasts only appreciate Mario style bumper car rides rather than driving simulators. Or Fable 2 and Mass Effect for example, innovating and refining the way RPG games are played so masterfully, yet you see some who boo them down because quality RPGs are non-existent in their lib...
Graphics on this game look set to blow away all others.
I should add the graphics were light years away from Pixar movies (as often claimed by some), so that was disappointing too. Honestly it was a dread to come across the time portals, and dread =/= fun.
Seems like the other way around in reality, and that's been more than 3 years into this gen already.
I thought UC2 was good, but this takes the cake.
I find it funny the people telling me about my post history - pot calling the kettle?
Played the demo, it wasn't fun, it was tedious.

Next allegation from you of course is that I'm lying anyway right?
Tried it when I was in France.
A racer that doesn't allow you to do custom decals is lacking.
Gamepro has notoriously low standards when it comes to reviews. I wouldn't trust them.
Doesn't sound exciting but we'll see.
