People still buy physical movies on disks? LMAO!
@mikeslemonade,
"Xbox is literally only definitely better at one thing. The controller is better."
That's not a fact, that's opinion. I like the DS4 better. It's just more comfortable in my hands. I do like the motorized triggers on the X1 controller though. I wish the DS4 had those.
LOL you and I have very different ideas of what is a flagship series.
Xbox is a horseshit platform IMO that contributes very little to the industry and the success of the 360 was a bit of "fool's gold."
When you think about the number of monumental mistakes Sony had to make last gen in order to lose so much market share to MS, you begin to realize what a minor miracle it was that PS3 came from behind to even tie the 360 in userbase. Sony released 1 year after the 360. It was ridiculously expensive. It was a bitch to program ...
You and right are just about as far away from one another as you can get.
How is it all these high scores keep popping up for Horizon yet on Metacritic still sits firmly at 88? I would have thought with all of these late high scores it would have elevated it to a 90 or better by now.
I wouldn't say that's indicative of the engine itself though. I'd say that's the difference in talent between naughty dog and Guerrilla games in terms of modeling and animation.
@SeanScythe
Well there's not a rating between those so it's going to have to be one or the other LOL!
That and clone myself so I'll have more time to play all of it LOL!
LOL! No they're just finally implementing gameplay mechanics that we've already been playing for the last 10 years. Welcome to 2007 Nintendo! Of course I'm sure the gaming "media" will totally give it a pass because...you know...it's Zelda and that forgives all.
At least Horizon looks like a next gen game. Zelda BOTW looks like a game I would've played on my 360 five years ago.
It basically makes it a PS4 Pro...Pro. LOL!
Scorpio will be great but if anyone thinks it's going to come out and blow the doors off of Pro they're setting themselves up for disappointment. It's still not going to be beefy enough to run the AAA games in native 4K and I guarantee you the 3rd party games will look and run identical on both it and Pro. If you're an "Xbox person" I'm sure you will love it. Just don't expect it to be life-changing or anything.
No! We don't need Spiderman:Arkham City. The content needs to be very much in the spirit of the comics and fun for all ages.
@TWB
When Sony had announced they were increasing the price of Plus to 59.99, the thought actually occurred to me that they might be including PS Now in with the service. Announcing it at the time of the increase would've been a bad idea because obviously everyone would've screamed "you're making us pay for something we don't want." However if you wait until say, E3 and announce "All PS Plus members now get PS Now" you come out looking ...
@majiebeast
Agreed 100%. There hasn't been what I would consider a "masterpiece" Zelda game since Wind Waker.
And Ni No Kuni 2, Wipeout Omega Collection, Crash N Sane Trilogy, Persona 5, Hellblade, Matterfall, Marvel VS Capcom Infinite, Uncharted The Lost Legacy, Detroit: Become Human, etc. Add on top of that the 3rd party stuff like Mass Effect Andromeda, Star Wars Battlefront 2, Destiny 2 (supposedly coming this year),
I agree. No need to rush God of War 4 out. We have more than enough to keep us busy for 2017. Make it a February 2018 release and we can have that, Spiderman, a...
1.) But at what cost? They're not just going to give that service away for free. Personally I'd rather it be left as an option than making us pay for something we may not want.
2.) Agreed 100%!!
3.) The Order was not a very good game. Why do we want a sequel?
4.) See #3
I'm sure it will. The gaming media will be on Zelda's dick faster than a 10 cent whore.
I'd rather have Mod Nation Racers.
I just want Slightly Mad Studios to make the game playable with a game controller from the get go. For the first game, it was quite a long and arduous trial and error process dialing in a control scheme that didn't send me crashing into a wall. That burden should never be put on the user. The game should be playable out of the box.
