People who think Colin left because of that tweet needs a reality check. Anyone even remotely paying attention could see this was inevitable. Colin's disinterest in gaming has been growing more and more obvious over the last year. I knew this day would come. I just didnt expect it this soon or this sudden.

I think you mean too many modular parts, not moving parts. Moving parts would indicate automated moving components like a hard drive or a blu ray drive, of which the Switch has neither.
In the case of MK8 Deluxe and Smash Bros I'm perfectly fine with it. Those games deserve a second chance because releasing on a system with a 12 million user base means very few people got to play them. I'd also like to see a few others be ported over to Switch like Captain Toads Treasure Tracker and Super Mario World 3D.

Nintendo should have bought Sega back when they were at their most vulnerable. Could you imagine Nintendo having such IP's as Sonic, Daytona, Phantasy Star, Shinobi, Virtua Fighter, Space Harrier, Afterburner, Crazy Taxi, Panzer Dragoon, Virtual On, and Jet Set Radio all to themselves to go along with Zelda, Mario, Metroid, Donkey Kong, Splatoon, Smash Bros, etc? They could've been unstoppable!

To me, the only way that you can truly call a game "perfect" is if you can look at it and honestly say there's absolutely nothing else you could do to improve it. That is NOT the case with Zelda BOTW. In all my years of gaming, going all the way back to Pong, there has only been 1 game that I consider perfect and that is Tetris.
My only real nitpick (and yes it's just a nitpick) is the world isn't QUITE as interactive as I'd like it to be. For example, I hate that I cannot submerge underwater and explore. I hate that I cannot go into every cabin, look around, and interact. Also I wish there was a greater variety of wildlife. I seem to see boars, rabbits, turkeys, and geese over and over. But why aren't there any bears, deer, elk, moose, etc?
Can I finish this one first? LOL
Because man, the feelz!! Practically every member of the gaming media grew up fans of Nintendo so anytime they put out a new game, it immediately tugs at their heartstrings.
If Colin had no intention of leaving prior to that tweet, he wouldn't have left after he sent it out. He probably would have issued an apology and moved on. He was co-founder of the company, nobody could make Colin leave but Colin. The tweet was not THAT offensive. They've said far worse things on that show.
