Pro is only 3 months old. You talk like it's been on the market for 3 years. Now, external hard drive support for PS4, THAT should've been there from the beginning.
@bg116
You just answered your own question. The hardware was ALWAYS capable. However the software wasn't ready to drive it. Now it is.
PS4 is getting Gran Turismo this year and nothing is going to outsell that.
Agreed. Fallout 4's popularity HAS to stem from how good Fallout 3/New Vegas was. It really isn't a very good game compared to it's predecessor IMO.
Um, it...IS powerful enough in the first place, genius! It's kind of the point of having the feature in the first place. This is primarily a feature to give older PS4 games that do not receive pro patches a boost in performance at the hardware level.
The first one wasn't bad considering it was the studio's first effort. However a LOT of improvements will need to be made to the sequel before I consider buying again. I'm not sure what platform you play it on but, I'm a console gamer and played it on PS4. Here are my issues with the game as a console gamer...
1.) For starters, default settings for controller handling need to take a quantum leap. It took a lot of research and trial and error for me to ...
The only "boost" MS needs to concern itself with is in 1st party studio efforts.
Rocks!!
They should design joycons with the classic GameCube button layout.
LOL I'm sure gamers everywhere are lamenting over the performance of Tempo The Badass Elephant.
God, you sound like Shawn Long on Class VS Crass. If it wasn't made before 2001 it's not worth a damn to play.
Man, can this guy sound any less excited for the Switch? LOL!
Going all digital with Switch. Screw trying to keep up with those damn things LOL!
Doesn't bother me considering the internal drive can be upgraded as well.
Most of the criticism I've heard regarding the hardware has been with playing the JoyCons turned sideways, saying their hands felt cramped and uncomfortable. Also, the left JoyCon not containing a D-pad is a major turn off for those who want to play 2D games. I couldn't imagine trying to play Ultimate Street Fighter with that layout. I wonder if Nintendo will offer a separate left JoyCon with a D-pad included?
I agree. There are so many great Wii U games that not enough people played like Super Mario 3D World, Captain Toad's Treasure Tracker, Super Smash Bros, Pikmin 3, Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze, Mario Maker, Bayonetta 2, etc. I'd love for all of these to come to Swtch remastered in full 1080p.
Also...
Project Sonic
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
Snipper Clips
Lego City
Pikmin Adventures
It's not that powerful. Judging from what I've seen so far, I would consider this device a "Wii U Plus" in terms of performance, only in mobile form, probably coming in around 750-800 gigaflops or so with 4GB of RAM
Agreed. The whole game just felt very generic to me. The whole time I played it I was like "great, one more militarized shooter to add to the already growing pile."
I disagree. I think Switch is going to be a big success story for Nintendo.
