I've always suspected that a lot of people who bought 360's were old Sega die hards who hated Sony for burying the Saturn and the Dreamcast.
Infamous won't be available until 2014.
I'm getting Killzone, Knack, Watchdogs, and Battlefield 4 plus the Drive Club freebie for PS Plus. That'll be plenty to keep me busy through the end of 2013!
Newsflash Saryk, North America is NOT "the world." Even if Sony gains a 50% market share of North America this time around, they will be the global leader next generation because they will continue to dominate the Euro and Asian markets.
Remember, all the nice little advantages that MS had over Sony this generation will be erased next generation.

Does anyone know if this game is going to be subscription based? Because if it is, I honestly don't see it being that popular on console. We're already paying for internet and a dedicated online network service. It would suck if we had to pay yet ANOTHER subscription fee on top of all that just to play one game! I'm hoping that Bungie tries to fund the project through microtransactions instead of it being subscription based.

I still say Polyphony should have developed GT6 for the launch of the PS4.
Maybe it's just me but the fact that Gamestop is needing to do this at all shows how wrong all this is in the first place. It shouldn't be so restrictive/complicated where retailers are having to hand out special flyers just to explain to customers what they can and can't do with their systems and games.
It's not hypocrisy. Many of us PS3 owners have already been very happy PS Plus subscribers for the last 2 years. The amazing value that Sony provides for their membership cannot be compared! The fact that Sony has decided to roll multiplayer up into the Plus membership for PS4 doesn't change a thing for us who already subscribe. They're still going to offer the free games, discounts, cloud storage, etc along with what will I'm sure be a much better online experience.
Given the breadth and variety of titles that Sony has offered for free through PS Plus, I don't see how anyone can honestly say there's NOTHING that interests them unless they are solely a sports gamer or COD fanatic. I suspect that some of those people haven't taken an honest look at just what all is available to them through the Plus subscription.

I don't see how they can do that, especially in light of the fact that the Xbone requires full installation of all of their titles and no disk requirement after that. If they suddenly lifted their pre owned restrictions, it would be a shit storm of rent, install, return. Buy, install return or trade in. Publishers would be irate over that! At that point MS would almost have to go to an all digital format and cut physical media out completely.

Geez I'm not! I had a hard enough time deciding which games I wanted at launch as it is! In the end I pre ordered Knack and Killzone: Shadowfall and I may just pick up Battlefield 4 as well. I figured these along with the free Drive Club PS Plus download will be more than enough to keep me busy until Infamous comes out!
I really go back and forth over this topic. One the one hand, I get that Sony wanted the console to launch at a cheaper price and give consumers options.
