I swear I have never seen a company who has had to explain themselves more than MS has leading up to this launch.
I've quoted this before but it rings so true. There's an old saying in politics "If you're explaining, you're losing." MS has been doing a LOT of explaining lately.

Actually, one of my most anticipated titles at launch IS one of the freebies...Outlast! That game looks creepy as hell!
Games like Sly, Ratchet & Clank, Jak & Daxter, and the upcoming Knack are precisely why I prefer Playstation over Xbox. You just cannot find titles like that on Xbox.

I hate it when pompous cork sniffers say this crap. We're not re inventing the wheel here. It's an FPS. It's going to look like an FPS, it's going to play like and FPS. The innovative game play is coming in the form of the more open world approach to the levels that promote exploration over just simply run and gun. Also the implementation of the "Owl" will add a new element to the game play.
You left out Puppeteer, Rain, and GT6.
Playstation has had the best games for 3 straight generations. No reason to think that will change now.
"power of the cloud" is about as realistic as "blast processing" on the Sega Genesis. The fact that you're gullible enough to buy into that crap discredits your entire post IMO.
Sadly Groo, a lot of them are mindless and stupid. MS appealed to the mass "trailer park" demographic with their crappy cheap hardware and the fact those people were too stupid to see that after buying the bare bones system sku they were going to have to turn around and ugrade their hard drive, purchase an ethernet adapter, purchase a Live Gold subscription to play online, etc. So yeah, many who reside within the Xbox demographic are pretty "mindless and stupid."
