That's not just 250.00 for a core system though. It's 250.00 for the system plus Splatoon and Smash Brothers. That's a hell of a value!

In before someone says
"Driveclub @ 60fps for the win!!!!!"
But seriously if true, I'd say this has more to do with Playstation VR than anything else.
The Wii U is a great "companion console." Meaning I would never want it as my sole console, but paired with my PS4 they both pack a fantastic one-two gaming punch!
I have two young sons and I am thankful for them most of all. I am thankful that they are healthy and happy.
I am also thankful that I am fortunate enough to be a father because absolutely nothing in the world has given me a greater understanding of love than having children of my own. I never knew what it really meant to be selfless, to put others before me until I had children. They are my whole world and I could never imagine life without them.

The shadows are blocky at 60fps. They're smooth at 30fps.
Consoles launched this generation with less power (relatively speaking) than the usual technological jump. It was necessary to get the launch prices down to an acceptable level. Gone are the days of launching cutting edge systems at 299.99. Usually new consoles launch with a power advantage over high end PC's for about a year or so and then PC technology catches up. However that wasn't the case this generation. New consoles launched already BEHIND PC's in terms of graphics/pr...
@sd11
That's true. Though honestly I don't think Nintendo wants to deal with 3rd parties. One reason is because they don't want 3rd party titles competing with sales of their 1st party titles. Another reason is because Nintendo has VERY stringent quality control for their systems and they will not tolerate buggy games being released on their consoles with the idea of patching them after the fact. That is a practice that Nintendo does NOT adhere to. People can ...
Peronally I'd like to see it go back to a 5 year cycle. I was really fatigued with last generation by the time it ended. To me 5 years is perfect.
This was a complete waste of development and frankly, Nintendo should be ashamed for just "phoning in" a title such as this when Wii U owners are so starved for content!
That's what I keep telling people. Part of the reason Nintendo has unified their portable and home console games development is because they KNOW they're not going to get the 3rd party support. By doing this, along with unifying their mobile and console platforms with the "NX" it will allow a constant, steady stream of content coming to the system without the reliance of 3rd party titles to fill in the gaps between releases. To be honest, I think Nintendo WANTS their cons...
If they're not even out yet, how do you know they're the best? :-D
Will never happen! Nintendo going mobile is about as close to 3rd party as you're ever going to see Nintendo get.
@2pacalypsenow
Where on earth did you find a 4tb 2.5 internal HDD and how much did you pay for that?
@Sparta07
Because you get a LOT more storage capacity at a cheaper price with an external HDD.
Really they just need to come with external storage support.
2 million + copies sold says otherwise. Evolution has improved this game exponentially since the launch and the bikes are a fantastic addition to the game.
I honestly do not think Nintendo is interested in pursuing a heavy reliance on 3rd party support. I think they really want their platforms to be near 100% supported by internal development. I think that's why they have unified their portable and home console development divisions and I think that's why the NX is rumored to be a singular platform with games that support both mobile and home console gaming.
By doing this, it will allow Nintendo to support one singlua...
LMAO!
"Gimptrooper."
I barely have time to play current titles. I can't imagine going back 2 generations ago to play old games again. For those excited for this, great! For me, meh.
