I would if I were them. The console is going nowhere and 3rd parties have made it abundantly clear they have no interest in releasing games for it. Just "etch a sketch" the whole thing and try again with NX.

What game isn't repetitive? Every game picks a mechanic and sticks with it. The general nature of video games is repetition when you think about it. Mario is repetitive, Call of Duty is reptitive, racing games are repetitive, The Witcher 3 is repetitive, Tetris is repetitive, etc. It's not like video games give you a completely fresh set of mechanics with each level or chapter.

Nah, the graphics on the Zelda WiiU game are highly stylized cell shaded. It will look great on NX.

Who cares? As long as Zelda WiiU is a good game, what difference does it make whether or not it's only for the WiiU? Only the most ardent anal fanboys would even complain about such a thing.
Who cares how they're labeled. All that matters is are they entertaining and do they provide you value for your money.
Its the game that has defined this generation for me! I have put more hours into Driveclub than any other game by far. Destiny would be the only other game that comes close.
It won't be an exact copy of the PS4 because PS4 doesn't play Zelda, Metroid, Mario Maker, Donkey Kong, Splatoon, Xenoblade, Star Fox, Mario Kart, Pikmin, Animal Crossing, Luigi's Mansion, Scribblenauts, Yoshi, Toads Treasure Tracker, Mario Party, Pokemon, Yokai Watch, Kirby, etc, etc, etc. We're tired of the curveballs being thrown at us by Nintendo. This time I just want a 97mph fast ball right down the midddle!

Totally different markets! Yes, we ALLLLLL know PC's yield the best graphics. However not everyone is interested in playing on PC. I'm speaking strictly consoles here. If, say the NX comes out and its powerful enough to run Fallout 4 or Tomb Raider at a constant 1080p/60fps with superior textures, lighting, particle effects, etc I know I would take a serious look at it, provided Nintendo doesnt completely screw up the controller design!

Honestly, all I really want from Nintendo is a new powerful handheld that can also interact with my TV to allow gaming at home or on the go in one package. If they can successfully pull that off, I'm on board. It wouldn't even have to be more powerful than PS4. Slightly more powerful than WiiU would be more than enough

For me it has to meet these 6 criteria in order for me to consider it...
1.) It has to be powerful, relative to the other consoles currently on the market. I don't expect high end PC specs but I'd at least expect something in the neighborhood of current Gen X2.
2.) 3rd parties have to show a commitment to develop for it. I'm not buying another Nintendo console where the only thing worth playing on it are Nintendo IP's that we have to wait lo...
