I was so looking forward to this game. I knew it initially wouldn't have story mode and the roster would be added to in future updates. However to launch with no VS CPU or Arcade modes is just egregious! I will not buy this game until it is a WHOLE game.
Yeah but come on dude! No 1p VS CPU mode or arcade mode at launch is ridiculous. That's embarrassing! I cannot believe they had the nerve to launch this in it's current state. They literally shipped and charged full price for an incomplete game! The fact that they plan to add it to the game a month later is irrelevant. This is really poor execution on Capcom's part.
Yeah that would be cool! Like I said, a Godzilla game should be extremely easy to make. What fans want is very clear. It just takes a development team dedicated to make it right.
You must not have played the old Gamecube/PS2 Godzilla games. If you did you'd be spoiled by them. The new game doesn't compare, not even close!

The thing that kills me is that Godzilla should be the EASIEST license to make a good game with! I was just going to post this! It wouldnt surprise me at all actually.
First off, the author of this article is a VERY lovely woman!
Second, I wouldn't be surprised at all if the NX sees enhanced versions of Zelda, Smash Bros, Splatoon, and Mario Maker all released at or near launch at 1080p/60fps and all DLC included. I don't think Pikmin 3 will come for NX because supposedly Pikmin 4 is currently in development and that is the one that most likely would get an NX version.

I cry at funerals, I cry at weddings, I cried when my kids were born, I even cried a little when Robin Williams died. However not one time has a polygonal character in a video game ever even come close to making me cry. Its just too far removed from reality for me to be emotionally invested to THAT degree. My suspicion of disbelief doesn't carry me that far.
Those of you who claim that games make you cry (of which I believe 99% of the time is total horseshit). Are you really THAT emotionally fragile?
It's just another indicating shift that MS is slowly making to get out of the traditional console business. I'm telling you, Xbox 1 very well could be MS' last proprietary console. I wouldn't be surprised at all if next generation the Xbox will more like the steam machine, just a Windows 10-based open architecture "Live" machine.
I just can't believe this thing will be priced more than the console it needs to power it. If PSVR launches at 500.00 it is dead on arrival!
I'll need to spend more time with it but that was just my initial impression. The city felt rather empty to me. I do agree with you on the big sweeping corners. Those are pretty fun. I just wanted something more "alive" I guess. I'd love to get downtown Tokyo on the Japanese location with a bustling population and all kinds of neon signs. The new Scotland tracks feel like a ghost town.

They almost feel like small portions of what should have been much larger tracks that were heavily sectioned off. I never said it as to be a "graphical GOD of a game." However it does need to look like a next gen game. I'm all for great gameplay, however it's much, much harder to market gameplay than it is to show off what your new next gen system is capable of. The NX needs to impress, especially considering it's coming mid-generation.
