They both seem pretty close, but how can you make any sort of comparison without full-sized images, and ultimately what will matter is how smooth the animation is, or whether you have clipping, or whether there are other graphical artifacts? Merely comparing still shots does not give you any idea of how the game will run, maybe the PS3 version is blurred because of motion blurring, which actually looks awesome in game, or maybe not.
As it stands, comparing images is as usefu...
What's interesting is the IGN readers score. It's currently sitting at 6.8 now. A part of me is wondering whether it's not due to trolling, but the possibility remains that Bulletstorm might be missing the tree a bit with gamers. Comedy violence is funny, but it rarely sustains itself on its own, and I suppose therein lies the problem. Whereas with most other FPS's, there is a narrative to add meaning (albeit contrived or generic). Violence without context, might just not hit...
Therapist, I'm with ASTAROTH on this one, there are barely any jaggies in Killzone 3. I'm not entirely convinced that you actually played it.
PS: Just to be sure, I loaded Killzone 3 up on both SD and HD, and nope, no jaggies.
This is what passes for a review these days? I thought that badly written IGN review was the pits, but this actually forced me to take a breather, because of a blinding headache.
Just absolutely terrible.
This is the best news I've heard all day. I hope Sony goes in hard and breaks some heads.
From what I've gathered it's a console ban.
I believe the author is confusing popular with best, much in the same vein as MacDonalds might be popular, but it'll hardly provide you with an enlightened culinary experience.
Who would have thought that old idiom "A fool and his money are soon parted" would be even more relevant today. As much as I understand, you're free to do with your money as you please, but the fact that COD gamers are invariably validating Activision's belief that this generation's gamers are sheep (and will buy anything COD-related), is ultimately one of the toughest pills to swallow.
This is a very good review from the lazygamer lads, although I'm still not sure whether this is a game for me.
I have to agree with you. I definitely regret buying Call of Duty Black Ops.
I sincerely doubt that you're right MiD..uh! Josh Olin, but I can tell you one thing, you're well on your way to one bubble. Godspeed!
I generally prefer buttons over total punch control, but I did get into the latter in the last game (well was forced to any way).
I'm very keen to see how they've incorporated Move into Killzone 3, so I'll definitely start off my Killzone 3 career with the move and navigator controllers. Can't wait!
It's generally encouraged that you first read an article, before you comment on it. Commenting on a subject, in which you're ignorant of its content generally leads to embarrassing and awkward moments.
I sadly fell for the COD Blops hype, but I'll pass on MW3. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me!
@FailOverHero I believe you mean "blogging career" pay rolled by rich or upper middle-class parents who live in Camps Bay.
Such a shame Danny, you missed out on God of War Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta (and a host of other truly amazing PSP titles).
PS: Oh wait, you never owned a PSP and you were merely trolling, my mistake. Carry on!
Interesting post, I'm just surprised that Kinect Adventures are so high up in the list. I'm curious to see how different each of the EU territories are in terms of gaming preferences.
I'm pretty keen to revisit Mass Effect 2 on PS3 (having also been converted from x360 to PS3 after one too many RRODs). Having said that, Mass Effect 2 (PS3) is going to be a definite buy for me, and I'm not going to be ashamed to have it, ME1 and ME2 on X360.
Good Times!
Racing games? That's a stretch, especially since they've been around for as long as we've been gaming. The real problem with Guitar Hero was that greed got the best of Activision and they milked it severely over the course of two years. Where they could have cultivated the genre, they decided to rather slash and burn for $$$. In hindsight, I'm sure they regret this decision because ultimately, a once profitable product has now been reduced to ruin.
I'd w...
