***"The PS4 version of Fallen Order accounted for 66% of sales, with the Xbox One edition making up the 34% remainder"***
PS4 has an install base of 100 million.
Xbox One has an install base of 50 million.
Considering this, the fact that Xbox One was able to account for 34% of total sales is actually quite impressive.
If you take into account the games adoption rate on both consoles, if t...
I owned the original Shenmue on my imported Japanese Sega Dreamcast way back in '99, I really enjoyed the game so I'm quite excited to play Shenmue III.
I think the idea of a touchscreen built into the controller is a really great way to add functionality to the DS and a natural evolution of the light bar and touchpad on the DS4.
I thought the VMU on the Sega Dreamcast controller which used a primitive but similar idea was way ahead of its time, I'd love to see Sony implement something like this for PS5.
Great review, excellent expansion - DLC done right.
Capcom is having a fantastic year.

As you predicted, right on cue.

***"And your in every PlayStation and Death Stranding thread crapping on that... so whats your point?"***
Really....
Look through my comment history, find one negative comment about Death Stranding.
Quote it here,
I'll be waiting for your apology.

***"What defines a service based game anyway?"***
Aware that your comment was aimed at rainslacker, but allow me to define what defines GaaS in my opinion and also in the eyes of the law (US and European), as it will provide some clarity for rainslacker in his inevitable response to my post.
A service based game (GaaS) is a game that utilises a Client and Server relationship to work, the user has part of the software in...
@rainslacker
The only game from your list that I agree with is Sea of Thieves, You seem to be using a very broad definition of what defines GaaS to justify your comments.
When I think of GaaS, I think of games like Destiny, Anthem, WoW and as you quite rightly highlighted SoT.
You seem to be defining GaaS as any game with DLC, do you consider Insomniac's Spider-Man a GaaS title?
As an example, You include Gears 5 multiplaye...

How many Xbox Games Studios service based games can you actually list rainslacker?
@cellfluid

In your opinion.

***"MS continues to give me reasons to never own an Xbox One"***
Maybe, but in the same comment you're;
A. Paying MS for Gamepass Ultimate
B. Paying MS for the Windows operating system
C. Paying MS for an Xbox One controller
D. Playing within the Xbox ecosystem via crossplay
Microsoft doesn't need you to buy a console, in all probabi...

***"yes, an article says good, just people with no brains can buy it"***
Lol,
Your desperation to throw shade on what has quickly become a "no brainer" for Xbox gamers is telling.
As Atom quite rightly pointed out, buying just one month of Xbox and playing only a small percentage of the games that interest you is objectively better than buying those games full price.
Your insec...

***"4K HDR 5.1 streaming won't be available until next year"***
Nowhere in the article does it say this.
It does however state this from Google themselves;
"The best experience at launch is on TV (4K, HDR and all)."
I'm all for wailing on Google, (they have f*ck*ed up the Stadia launch massively) to the point where I have cancelled my Founders Edition Pre order ...
***"If you remember at the launch of Xbox One, we were $100 more expensive and less powerful. So, I won't be in that position. There's no doubt about that. As an industry that's growing so fast, we do think about price. We do think about performance as well. I'm not going to sacrifice performance for the sake of price"***
Interesting.

You judge a "book" by its cover here.

Truth is, neither you nor I have played these games, yet you are automatically labelling them as "junkf...
The best game I've played all year, really pleased it's getting a release on consoles next year.
This game deserves to be played!!
