Thank you for you well thought out, constructive response, a rarity on N4G.

I think you're absolutely right about the sarcasm on occasion.

My comment is directed towards users that will undoubtedly cite clickbait or journalistic integrity as a way to discredit Giant Bombs opinion of the game in the name of some irrelevant narrative.

As for Death Stranding, as a massive Kojima fan I have the game pre-ord...

I trust GiantBomb.

Jeff Gestmann one of the founders of Giant Bomb, was fired from Gamespot for refusing to give a positive review to one of the Kane and Lynch games. Despite pressure from both the developer IO Interactive as well as upper management at Gamespot Gerstmann stuck to his guns which eventually cost him his employment.

In addition, as editor at Gamespot Gerstmann refused to budge over the 7.5 review score given to Ratchet and Clank Future: Too...

In light of your comment, It's quite ironic that Death Stranding features multiple ingame product placements for Monster Energy drink.

If the game has 64 positive and only 2 negative reviews as you so rightly point out, then where is the smear campaign that you mention in your post?

***"it's weird that Insomniac, Bend, and Guerrilla supported the development and is still coming out on PC"***

Guerrilla supported development of the game as Kojima chose the DECIMA engine for Death Stranding, the same engine used in HZD. It makes sense that as a Studio backed by SIE, Kojima Productions were given the opportunity to get the best from the engine and if anyone knows how to utilise DECIMA for best effect its the develope...

***"I wonder what the IGN aggregate review score is for this game"***

I wonder how many regional variations of an IGN review users are going to post to this website trying to prove a point?

As a huge Kojima fan and someone that wants DS to do well, it appears to me that the multitude of community approved submissions of regional IGN variations are in direct response to Tristan Ogilvie's 6.8 review score for the IGN mainsite.

Interesting that you choose to move the goalpost by using a "different average" to make your point, is median the new standard on N4G now?

As a fan of Nintendo's exclusives I'll be happy with this because BotW moves from 97 to 100, and Super Mario Odyssey from 97 to 99.

@GTX

I've got the Pro controller for Switch (because Splatoon) and the Series 2 which I received yesterday.

The Switch Pro controller is amazingly ergonomic and feels fantastic (it's massively underrated), whereas the Series 2 feels great but also features a ton of hardware customisation (stick tensions, paddles, three stage trigger etc).

Overall having used both I'd say that the Pro controller has better ergonomincs (by the...

Mine arrived yesterday,

It's absolutely superb, the build quality is faultless and the new blackened metal detailing looks immaculate.

The updated customisation software is full of features, and the ability to tweak the stick tensions in hardware is really welcome, the 40 hour battery life is just the icing on the cake.

It was expensive, but as the primary way I interact with my console, I feel it is wo...

Great to see SEGA still in the industry and doing well after all these years.

It saddened me to see them leave the hardware market after the ill fated Dreamcast, a shame as DC was a superb console with amazing features and tech that were way ahead of its time.

More than happy that the Yakuza series has found a market in the West and is able to reach a larger player base through the efforts of the localisation teams.

Genuine question.

Why do you justify your argument on which is the "better" product based on sales?

"Was that the fight where you had to switch the memory cards to confuse him??"

Not quite,

He read your "mind" from the save data on your memory card then told you to place your controller on a surface. He then moved it using his "powers" (rumble)

You had to plug your controller into port 2 to stop him being able to "read" your movements and make the fight easier. <...
