MS did a great job getting themselves out of the way and letting the games do the talking. Sony had some good but set themselves up for disappointment by teasing exclusives and only revealing basically indies. Also Sony keep attacking MS as if they were back in middle school while MS is focusing on making up for its past blunders. MS wins this one, but Sony helped them.
I played all of the COD since MW so I'm a big fan, but COD is about to pounded by BF4 and Titan Fall... and Destiny, Halo, etc, etc. Halo may be a premature victor because if 343 makes the same mistake as Ifinity Ward and releases a cross gen version of a game that is hard to tell apart from the last six iterations then it will join COD and Killzone at the bottom of the FPS pile. not only does X1 have better exclusives (for now) but its capabilities on the multimedia side will continue to dominate PS4. Sony announces a deal with viacom and all of sudden the PS4 has better capabilities as X1? All of a sudden they can take on MS who has been pushing these types of services and technologies for years... not saying PS4 isn't going to be great but let's at least maintain some level of logic...please tell me the author and most of these fan boys are from a differ...

looking forward to seeing many great games on all the systems, but have no idea why so many sony gamers think LBP, Infamous, and Killzone are so great. I only play once or twice a week so with limited time these three only lasted a few weeks before being replaced by much superior games. Not saying they are bad games but just don't get the hype.

I think you're on to something. Xbox is very popular and for that reason attracts a lot of attention and the funny part is the Sony fan boys give it more attention than anyone else with their personal mission to oppose it at every step... free publicity for MS.

that's a good point edge. MS seems to be removing all of its weak points by improving the dpad, adding blueray, and investing in 1st party. Coming out of the gate next gen they are looking even better than Sony in what used to be a Sony advantage but it's hard to believe this won't sway back to Sony's side before too long in terms of numbers. But, I personally only want a few games a year that are the best anyway....that's all I have time for and that's why I prefer...
If ms keeps going in that direction then sony and nintendo will have a shot.
One detail that you missed - MS has the best multiplayer games while Sony has the best single player games. You're right about everything else. PS4 will have better graphics though.

I have both but only online game on xbox because it really is no contest and the gap will widen next gen.
that's easy to answer from a 3 system owner.
1) Online gaming on Xbox is far superior to any other console.
2) Xbox main exclusives while few crush other exclusives, ex, Halo and Gears make Killzone and Resistance look like B games.
3) Xbox controller is vastly more comfortable and natural than the dual shock (but dual has far better d pad if need it).
4) MS has a bigger war chest and will continue to innovate technol...

but, but, XboxFun, Sony has Killzone Shadow Fall. Don't you remember how good all the other Killzone games were on PS3?
