PS3 and Xbox 360 are both in the Home Entertainment Center business. More than games. We know this, during the last gen, there was plenty of talk of this "what the next gen will bring", and one of the tops was TV, Music, Movies and Always on entertainment device.

Xbox 360 has a very good chance of meeting the mass market. Its the only console with a broad enough offering that satisfies the whole family.
Viva Pinata is a terrific title, great art direction and gameplay. I think you'll be seeing a lot of Viva Pinata from MS. Someone licensed the IP for a childrens cartoon, and MS is doing Viva Pinata: Party Animals which looks like another great game.

hey, you might be pleasantly surprised. It surely is an acquired taste, but it's probably the first new fun puzzle game in 3D.
Think of it more like a quirky 3D tetris-kinda-thing. Its very Zen trying to establish a smooth roll.

Ive played over 40 hours, Im only on the 2nd disc, and I am looking forward to the rest of it.
The art direction is terrific, the gameplay varied and the story is compelling and driving.

The Final Fantay series has been mixed. Some have been great, some not so great.
The height was probably FF VII and Hironobu Sakaguchi is now doing games for the Xbox 360.
Famitsu gave Blue Dragon a 37/40 (although, mixed scores in total, 7.8 / 10 on Metacritic is still a solid B+ (I am enjoying it very much, im more a Western RPG player, but the art direction and story are great.. and the fighting system is the best I've ever played in a JRPG).
