Perhaps you are missing the point, the rates of failure are VASTLY less than Sony fans would like them to be.
I know this, every Xbox 360 owner actually knows that the rate isnt anywhere near worthy of the level of attention it gets.
Besides, this is all old news. The machines are fixed, and everyone has been given free replacement/warranty extensions.

This site is over run by delusional sony fans. The amount of virtrol they project against the Xbox 360 -- and *any* exclusive game, is only matched by the desperation and self-affirming fabrictions they construct to spin PS3 into success.
They *do* know that Sony made too many mistakes; poor architecture, bad toolkit/development chain, bad PSN, bad firmware, no software, poor download game selection, lack of rumble, high-price point, 12-months late, not enough choice/price div...

No. Its not the same. The PS3 doesnt have signal upscaling built in. As such, it relies on the TV to do the scaling itself. That is why you have Insomniac asking "What TV are you using?"
The thing that Halo 3 was criticized for is EXACTLY what is taking place here, the Halo 3 was "640p" R&C *IS* "702p".
But in the case of the Halo 3, the Xbox 360's built-in upscaler sent out a 720p or 1080p signal.
