This site is almost without value, I dont even know why I come here. Im all for a little fanboy trolling (for sport) -- but this place is just filled to the brim with the most unobjective Sony fans patting themselves on the back and repeating BS.

Are you falling for that old trick again? Do yourself a favour, and pay attention to which parts of that game are IN-GAME (gameplay) and cutscenes.

Everything you see from Lost Odyssey is gameplay -- of finished code. Like usual Sony is releasing early visuals that will not be actual gameplay -- they do it over and over and over and over again... yet, you seem to fall f...
The two shots arent similarily constructed scenese. the FF shot is indoors, with something in the very near foreground. The Lost Odyssey shot is outdoor.. in "natural light".
If anything, seems the FF is cranked up on the bloom and has that 'soft' look, while the Lost Odyssey shot is more realistic

Its the nature of the genre. JRPG does turn based, otherwise, you end up with an action/adventure game.
The people complaining about the battle system clearly didnt play Blue Dragon and experience the liberating innovation Mistwalker brought to the JRPG genre, and, I hope this game plays as well as BD.
Every fool saying "oh, graphcis arent good" needs to appreciate that they selected a generic green field. Not going to really wow anyone.
Why does it suck? The man is a visionary, and he is building new games as we speak.
Blue Dragon really is fantastic, a great story and a good adventure. Lost Odyssey looks spectacular, a great looking and excellent technical feat. He's also working on a Blue Dragon for Nintendo DS (or, as I believe, MS's as-yet unannounced handheld gaming play..(they cant sit out with all the growth there...)).
He's got a MMO game and another new property on the way to Xbox 36...

This is not the first time that PS3 loadtimes have been identified as slower than the Xbox 360.
The Xbox 360 has a faster disc sub-system, this is also well documented.
What you see here is EVIDENCE of this, its not a EA (software) problem, but a SONY PS3 (HARDWARE) problem. Clearly.

The graphics look much the same, if anything, the Xbox 360 has less jaggies and more vibrant colours. But, that is debate-able.
What *IS* clear, is that the PS3 is seriously S-L-O-W-E-R than the Xbox 360 version, the 2nd load is almost painful to watch on the PS3...

Their OS is far and away the least expensive. You get updates for free for the lifetime.
Contrast this to its competitor (apple): $130 for 10.x point updates, roughly every year on an OS they didnt write (FreeBSD).

Every time news of a PS3 problem, you cry "lazy devs" or "sabbotage" or "conspiracy".
Why on earth would someone put glitches into their own game? Are you actually saying that REPORTING all these problems is sabbotage?
ITS reality! The Game has glitches. Framerate issues. It doesnt support mods (as promised).

There is more than enough evidence that MS has more than enough experience in the game industry (people seem to forget that Windows PCs are the biggest gaming "platform", and has been for 20 years..).
MS is *excellent* at innovating and sticking-to-it.

Yes, there are "all kinds" of people on Xbox LIVE.
But, contrast that with PSN. There, you have no barrier to entry, and nothing to loose.

I played Blue Dragon and *LOVE* it - Im now playing through a second time on "hard" (via the free update).
Just a great story with so much varied gameplay for a JRPG. Really genre expanding.
Sakaguchi-san doesnt disappoint, and I cant wait to play this latest, Lost Odyssey.
