Exactly right. Sony MPAA and Sony RIAA are VERY interested in getting everyone onto BR and the DRM-laden PS3 so that they can curb DVD pirates.

Im playing a lot of Arkadian Warriors. Its a really awesome dungeon crawler, in the Gauntlet style. Great fun, I always love those exploring hack-n-slash games.
I recommend it. Pick it up.

Killzone 2 is a totally unknown game.
Killzone 1 has a metacritic score of 7/10. Hardly a "hit" title, it didnt really sell that well (only two million copies from 2004 till now...). Then, Sony releases some very very (doctored?) shots from KZ2, and the PS3 fans now identify it as a sure-fire, must-have game.
There is *NO* reason to think it wont be just another mediocre game. No reason at all... *except* for wishful thinking by PS3 owners.
We still dont know what the Halo + Peter Jackson project is going to be.
I suspect we'll hear something after Winter Holiday. I cant wait.

I read 1012312 times on N4G -- from the PS3 owners -- that Microsoft just kinda forgot to line up some games for 2008.

Every new Xbox 360 is heat-failure free. They announced this months ago, when they changed the motherboard & CPU/GPU mounting, and reduced the component size and count.

There has been previous rumours of Mistwalker doing a MMORPG. It would be new news(rumour) if it was a Blue Dragon RPG.

You know how to tell what makes the most money for a retailer (particularily ones like game / electronic stores) -- they put the product at the back of the store.
You have to walk to the back to get the product.
Pay attention where the Xbox 360 product is at your local EBGames or Gamestop.... that will tell you very much.
That said, this article is clearly spot on. Xbox 360 is dominating total-sales in the industry.
