Dont be a goddamn idiot. The Xbox.com statement says NOTHING about games being down.
YOur talking out your arse. Im playing Halo 3 right now, played GeoW about a 2hrs ago...
get lost Sony Hater.
My question s: Wheree are the fcuking editors for this site?
Everything in this submission except a notice from MS about intermittent issues is 100% BULLSHIAT and FANBOY COMMENTARY.
What the fcuk is wrong with N4G? Where are the admins to remove these BULLSHAIT stories?
This site has really gone down hill in the last 6 weeks. Jesus, its one thing for the forums to have bickering, its totally another now that this site is being used to provide a ...
look at the disagrees. jesus, the sony fans are running wild here.
The question is "Should you play Fable?" I can give you a resounding YES!
Its available as an Xbox Original, you can also pick up a used disc somewhere -- and since every Xbox 360 is backwards compatible, you'll be able to play it off the original disc if you choose.
It sold extremely well, and was very well regarded. It has a Metacritic score of 8.5 / 10, which, for com...
Sweet! I played the heck out of that Game on my Amiga. Another great game for Xbox 360 owners -- awesome.
I love the "Play as the Bad Guy" Xbox LIVE option. Anyone who's played the "Infected" variants of Halo 3 on LIVE know just how fun it is to be the bad guy.
Its also *a lot* of fun being one of the last Good Guys in a Halo 3 Infected match, there is a new sense of desperation knowing that the bad guys are people and not AI.
Wow, I'm pre-ordering this game for sure.
Nintendo sells its own software, 3rd parties need not apply. The only reasons to buy Nintendo at this point is more Mario & Zelda - and Im happy to try new things.
Perhaps if Nintendo gets back into the hardware business, i'd be interested, but Gamecube 1.5 with a new controller? No thanks.
No. The MPAA and the RIAA want blueray. It isnt region free, has unbelievable amounts of DRM, and the PS3 is designed to enforce that DRM from the ground up... (that is the point of using the cell btw, a way to isolate the CPUs from one another to secure the BlueRay DRM)
The CUSTOMERS want the less expensive to print HD-DVD, the format that gets you backwards compatibility to DVD (HD-DVDs play in DVD players you know... one disc both formats), the CUSTOMERS dont want the scam...
@ Round_peg:
What would a dual-format add-on do to your little fantasy? Say, at about $79?
BOOM! There goes your movie-player-makes-the-game-ma chine narrative for the PS3. Whoops.
Its not over yet -- I know that's not a popular opinion on Sony Fanboy Central (N4G) -- but, dont count your chickens just yet.
It did cost Sony $500 Million to get Warner on board BlueRay, dont think that Toshiba and its partners cant pull a rabbit out of its hat.
THIS IS STILL GOING TO TAKE A WHILE. But, just as most people know, Download is the next "format".
What the heck is wrong with this site? This isnt the original title:
"Orange Box Afterthoughts: Valve talks about how 2007's biggest game came together"
This is the title:
"EGM Afterthoughts: Half Life 2: The Orange Box. Tearing apart Valve's overstuffed box."
How did that INACCURATE title get approved?
The game isnt "the biggest in any sense".
Biggest sales? Nope; Xbox E...
that list seems about right.
Personally, Im really hoping hoping for Alan Wake, Too Human and Fable 2.
Kindom under Fire: Crusades is a terrific game, it sold well and got a very respectable 8.1 / 10 score on Metacritic.
Im going to go out for the new game -- looks great.
"but Rare has been pretty sh*tty for past couple of years"
Clearly you havent played Kameo and Viva Pinata.
" you were lying about owning a ps3 weren't you?"
Huh? Why would you say that? Anyone who owns both consoles -- or has had time to spend with both -- know that Xbox LIVE is head-and-shoulders ahead of PSN in every regard; features, depth, community, offerings and on and on.
He probably *DOES* own a PS3 - and he's 100% right - I might have used other less-colourful language, but his message is accurate.
You know what a market that is twice the size means to uptake on a new OS? that it will take *longer* its called inertia. You've got more naive users (the tent is now bigger) and on and on.
Vista is doing *extremely* well. It is the 2nd most used OS on the planet (next to XP) and in about 12 months, XP will be a memory.
I can tell you that my Fortune 10 firm had such success with Vista at the Beta sites that we moved the roll-out forward.

What I expect from MS @ GDC is a massive push in Social Gaming.
I dont think anyone (except the most delusional sony fanboys) can expect that MS *WONT* have hit after hit for hardcore gamers, and the more of the best exlusives, and better featuers/performance from the multi-plats (say, exclusive content for the Best Experience on GT4) etc etc in 2008.
MS is surely getting the cream-of-the-crop of potential exlusives from 3rd parties (based on their success with a...
MORE BS from the uninformed. Xbox 360 is the MOST quiet of the generation:
"Conclusion:
1. Xbox 360 – on average least noisy, generally level noise output
2. PS3 – Not noisy at first, but fairly noisy once on for a short while
3. Wii – Virtually no noise… until you play a game and then the noisiest of the bunch
"
Read it and weep Sony Fanboys. Your level of FUD astounds.

Hahahah still trying to catch up eh? Do like my friend did, sell your WaitStation and buy a Xbox 360 -- everyone else is doing it, you dont want to get stuck with a machine wihtout games do you?
Go ahead, we wont hold it against you.
