Via Windows Media Center Extender on my Xbox 360, I use the Xbox 360 as the interface for my PVR, and live TV & Radio playback (all that pause live TV stuff too).

The machine offers VIDEO ON DEMAND. Think of it as the ultimate Network Connected PVR database -- it makes the need for PVR (as in recording shows and such) kinda pointless.
The shows/sports/movies (etc) will be Play on Demand.

The service wasnt *DOWN*. SOME people had ISOLATED problems. It wasnt a massive failure, but a small problem - NO ONE i know saw a single issue.
No shiat. N4G is a cess pool of Sony Fanboy FUD. The admins are no where to be found while N4G is used to add credibility to their FUD.

Go and read the article again. The article is an editorial by the staff AT EGM saying "Sony, ubisoft and midway have been buying reviews, when we refused, they blackballed us".

Hardly, everyone I know vastly prefers the Xbox 360 controllers to the old PS2/3 design.
The controller is an ergonomic nightmare, im not surprised people are having to buy 3rd party add-ons to make the thing usable. There just terrible, maybe sony should hire an indsutrial designer to fix it before they release the New Rumble replacement controllers.
Seems like a lot of confusion around PS3 controllers. Why did Sony rush out the PS3 without finishing the controller?
I mean, is everyone going to have to replace all their controllers now to get the full experience? Sony should offer some kind of exchange or rebate program -- maybe a coupon system for free controllers or something.

Looks great, exciting inventive gameplay. The LIVE gameplay and the opportunity to play as the bad-guys against people during their campaign (as opposed to a 4 vs. 4 scenario) is truely unique.
