The problem isn't that, it is when the disc gets dislodged from the holder.
I Wasn't the one that disagreed with you, but i DO disagree with you. Opening the boxes would have caused more problems. There was no reason to suspect that the discs were going to get scratched.
Letting them open the boxes early is another one of those hindsight is 20/20 solutions that is unrealistic.

I still can't figure out why Blue Dragon isn't listed as one of the AAA games when people start listing off the libary of titles for the 360.

I love my 360 and all, but honestly those are beyond what either the PS3 or the 360 are capable of. I can't imagine even an 8800 GTX doing those at 60FPS. Some serious shader performance required there.

There is a place for multiplayer only games like Warhawk, and there is a place for single player only games like Bioshock. Honestly I prefer it when they are primarily geared for one or the other. You don't have to always make a game do both. And these are two perfect examples of that.
ask yourself how FUN will the plasmids REALLY be in multiplayer. Seriously. Think about it.
Getting frozen...set on fire, Stunned from the electrobolt? How many people REALLY like getting hit with the newb combo in Halo 2? It's lame. This would take that to another level.
This isn't a game that had the weapons designed around being BALANCED for multiplayer.

I dunno, I suspect the gameplay will be so different that you can't directly compare them. Each will be equally good at what they do.
It's like GoW vs Bioshock. I can't honestly say either is better than the other because they play so differently, and try to do different things.
You can't in some cases. They didn't have enough copies. I got lucky, I swapped out for the LAST copy of the limited edition.
Gamestop is swapping out the game disc from the regular edition and then making you go through microsoft to get the bonus disc replaced.
