Whenever i'm on DCUO there aren't that many people on. All of the servers never go past 'Low' for population so they probably made it free so they don't alienate those people as well.
To me that doesn't look like scrapyard at all, they could have put a bit more effort into it to be honest.

iPad costs like $500 though so it doesn't matter if the games are cheaper the thing itself is a lot more expensive.
I'm going to be getting the Wi-Fi only vita on launch day, although i may get the 3G one if they announce some good 3G deals.
The 3DS just doesn't seem like a good buy at this current moment in time. Maybe when they release Super Mario 3D land i might buy one or when they release a 'lite' version.
But until that time it's the Vita all the way for me.

I think by the sheer number of gamers on here who are combating your ridiculous points shows where the market 'is'. There are a LOT of gamers who are really excited about the Vita and will be buying it when it releases.
In my group of 'gamer' friends only one of them has a 3DS and that's me yet all of us have got a pre-order down on the vita simply because it WILL be worth it.
How can you have a a 'full-formed' shooter on a Handheld WITHOUT ACTUAL CONTROLS.
Touchscreen controls just don't match up to physical controls, i'd much rather play a £30 QUALITY game with acutal controls then a £5 one with touchscreen controls because after a while touchscreen controls hurt the tips of your fingers.

I don't care about graphics that much, i'd rather have actual physical controls like the ones on the vita rather than touch screen controls.
You just don't get any feedback with touchscreen controls.
The DS beat the PSP because of the content it provided and i think Sony learnt their lesson from that because now they're going all out to provide a quality line-up for the Vita of popular games spanning multiple genres.
Only time will tell, you can't really give something the title of 'Greatest handheld ever' when it hasn't been released yet though.
You're forgetting that the PSvita is the better console of the two and so far the 3DS isn't selling well at all, although more people have picked one up since the price drop. 3 years from now it's anyones guess as to who will have 'won' because only time will tell who has.
However that didn't help the PSP but it's clear to see which is the better value of the two consoles.

One thing Console Gamers always fail to miss is that there are:
1. A lot more games on the PC because it is easier to develop for
2. A lot more FREE games because they don't have to pay a console license, so if a person were to buy a $600 PC and then only play F2P games they would save themselves money in the long run as opposed to if they bought a console
